Seat installation method: 1. Seat for Segway Ninebot ES1 - ES4
Pro: This is a really good seat for the little Ninebot scooters, and the price was fair. Ultimately, it was easy to install and is easy to remove. Cons: 1) The installation instructions are in Chinese, but the pictures are pretty good although you may need a magnifying glass to see details. 2) IF you have the optional second battery that fits on the up tube, you still can fold the scooter (with the seat on it) so you can carry it in your car BUT you cannot lock the handlebar into the bracket above the rear wheel.

Nice seat
It didn't fit 100% onto my scooter. The part where it attaches to the bottom of the scooter uses triangle spacers that are made of plastic. It's what aligns the seat bracket with the bottom edge of the scooter. While the plastic looks strong, given enough pressure, it looks like it will fail. For example, if the rider is leaning back onto the seat and creating leverage, this will undoubtedly fail. Of course a normal riding position wouldn't create such a problem, one momentary lapse of judgement could result in disaster.Also, it doesn't allow for the scooter to completely fold down onto itself (and latching). You'd have remove it entirely to do that.

A must have for long rides!
Same high quality as Segway Ninebot scooter. A must have for long rides. Bumps are smoothed out very well while seated. Can be used on ES4 extended battery configuration but scooter will not fully fold down to lock position. Instructions we're in Chinese (I think). Diagrams helped. Simple assembly and install. Screws don't go all the way in? Probably best not to over tighten! Device fits securely to scooter. I love it!
