I bought this after watching several vids on YouTube posted by various doctors who talked about the litany of benefits this essential vitamin Benfotamine provides including the prevention + even reversal of cognitive issues, inflammatory disorders, diabetes sues, eye health, antioxidant qualities & more. Due to our grossly depleted soil it’s no longer naturally in many products like our grains so for some time our government/FDA adds it into many things like various grains, cereals, breads, pastas etc. but even w/this most of us STILL don’t get enough of it every day.I’m young & have no cognitive concerns now but definitely don’t want to develop them either, same goes for cardiovascular issues. I do have inflammatory issues due to a lot of damage to my body, spine, extensive reconstructive surgeries + autoimmune disorders I developed from them, the pain associated w/them & my eyesight has gone from better than 20/20 to not so great anymore. Makes me feel like I'm getting b1 mental clarity is better, stopped snoring and putting on weight, fingers stopped tingling and it seems I absorb it well the price is right and you get a lot of it too energy is up and it's quite a large bottle. Seems to be of decent quality.

I've used a different brand before this. This looks like a quality brand, and does the job. I'm told that in Europe most doctors give this form of B-vitamin to people with diabetes as a protective measure -- it is said to protect against nerve damage even if your blood sugar is not completely under control. Also for people with other neurological conditions. I have pre-diabetes, but also nerve damage from an accident. I feel that taking this 100mg capsule once or twice a day adds to my over-all well-being. This particular brand's capsule is small and easy to swallow, and doesn't seem to have any unnecessary fillers. Some people with known high blood sugar might take as many as four capsules a day. I'm not at that point and I mainly use this to hedge my bets while I try to modify my life to rid myself of diabetes (I have known people who have done this - -mostly involved greatly increasing their daily activity level - -walking to work, etc.).A friend who is very picky about supplements, always checking for and reading research papers published in peer-reviewed scientific journals and the better medical journals -- told me that Benfotiamine is something he takes in addition to his diabetes medicine. He has been managing his diabetes very well for 20+ years. With our fast-paced lives and over-processed foods, most people are missing a lot of nutrients.As long as it remains affordable, I'll add this to my "just in case" supplement routine

I am approaching the two week mark since starting. I realize it generally requires three weeks to notice improving results and i am hopeful for any improvement as i have faith in reviews and clinical reviews attesting to the fact that it will work from lesser to greater degrees usually dependent upon level of daily dosage.
