A Must-Read for New Moms
Good Moms Have Scary Thoughts is an incredibly reassuring and honest book that every new mom should read. It normalizes the intrusive thoughts and overwhelming emotions that many mothers experience but rarely talk about. The mix of supportive advice, humor, and relatable illustrations makes it easy to digest, even when running on little sleep.I appreciate how this book encourages open conversations about postpartum mental health and provides practical tools to cope. It made me feel seen, understood, and less alone in my journey. Highly recommend for new moms and those supporting them.

Helped me through postpartum depression
The media could not be loaded. This book was recommended to me. It really helped me see things in a different way. It is also a good baby shower gift. Even if someone does not go through postpartum depression it does touch on some topics like when people think they are being helpful but over step. I like how there is a comic, expert text and a doodle journal entry. It makes it an easy read to pick up and put down as needed.

A must for a new mom!
Great, fast, fun read! As a second time mom I enjoyed reading this book and reconnecting with the fact that almost all moms are struggling. I am gifting my copy to my sister in law, who is due in September

Useful for new moms and friends of new moms
I bought this for a new mom who is a friend. I got it for her when she was pregnant and decided to read it before I gave it to her. I decideed to give this to her after she had had the baby and was in the post-partum phase. It is a great book and I have used it to take notes on how to support her through the journey. I know she will love it too becasue some of the scenarios in there are stuff that I have had others experienced moms talk about and how difficult it was to deal with the first time. I really recommend. Also the illustrations are so nice and the handwriting and design is generally friendly.

I recommend this to every new mom!
I first purchased this for myself 3 months postpartum when I was really struggling in lots of areas: worrying about breastfeeding, having difficulty setting boundaries with family members, worrying if I was doing enough, wondering if I was the only mom who felt overwhelmed, sad, and alone and this book was so incredibly validating. It was also so easily digestible. With a newborn there was just no time to “do the research” that I required to comfort myself. Luckily these were short, easy to digest. I could read short comic within a matter of minutes. I also loved that included a workbook side that allows you actually help address some of these feelings and concerns. So not only you were comforted you were not alone, you also had a means of bettering/helping yourself when it all feels like so much. I loved the versatility of the book and that you could just skip around and complete/read sections that applied to me and my situation. Since my initial purchase I have purchased 3 other copies for close friends of mine and they have all said the same thing, it was so comforting and helpful through out the postpartum journey.

Postpartum
As someone who had a rough time mentally during postpartum, I would recommend this to every new mom. This book says those thoughts you don't want to say and helps you feel less lonely.
