Having looked at numerous systems and reviews took the plunge with the Torocat as it states it had 4MP cameras. Arrived on time and well packaged, initially set it up to test in the front room all worked as it should but found that the waterproof connectors for the ethernet cables were to small and would not fasten. To get round this I purchased some outdoor ethernet cables and some junction boxes. Now up and running on the house, day time picture quality good, night time quality is ok, motion detection is quite sensitive but works, alarms to my phone worked but I disabled this due to the high volume it was sending and now just use the playback feature through my TV or the app on my phone. Overall pleased with the product and pricing considering the varied prices you can pay on CCTV systems.

Did not work at all, and sparks flew out the box when it was plugged in. But at your risk.

Sparks came out of the power socket as you plug it in, if you pluged the cable into the wall first, one of the camera ethernet cables cover o ring came broken, other than that, this camera kit is great value for money

Bought the 8ch 4mb poe nvr with four 2mb cameras then added two more 2mb and one 4mb cameras.Set up was pretty straight forward - default settings give you what you need though you do have to change the record settings if you only want footage when motion is detected.The only issue I had was with one of the additional cameras as that ended up with an ip already allocated to an existing cam. Wasn't initially obvious but Torocat email support pointed me to that and it was easy to change the ip after that.I'd looked at poe cctv systems for a few years but the price had put me off - initially was hesitant over this one as i couldn't find any reviews but eventually went for it and three weeks on now I'm still happy with it. Image quality is good and set up was fairly easy - crawling about in the loft was the worst part :)The instructions leave a bit to be desired but you don't really need them for the most part as it's fairly intuitive after a small amount of mucking about.All in all I'd certainly recommend this system.

The product works brill does everything I need the only problem I have is 1 camera is faulty if I could get this replaced it would be 5 stars from me

Very difficult to install, customer service details all void. Very unhappy. Thinking about returning.
