Quest Evening Primrose Oil 1000mg - 180 Capsules

its a great product at a great price. Think this is a really good product much better quality than most on the high street.

I started taking this brand due to its higher GLA per capsule. Many brands advertise that they are a high dosage (meaning 1000mg) but the GLA content is very important. Previously I was taking Natures Aid which is a good value supplement but only 80mg GLA per capsule which is not too bad, others a worst. Quest is 100mg per capsule. The maximum I have seen is 130mg per capsule but you have to pay a bit more.I started taking Primrose Evening Oil because I heard it can help balance hormones on top of a list of other things but this was my reason. I saw a lady's review that said it helped with her unsightly chin hairs. I was getting some really course chin and neck hairs that irritated the skin in the area. By increasing my dosage of GLA to 300mg twice a day (a total of 6 capsules) the hairs have reduced significantly and the skin is no longer inflamed so I am happy about that. The health of my skin has improved all over not just on my neck and chin.Capsules that have a lower GLA are fine I think but it means I would have to take lots more capsules per day. I heard some where that for balancing hormones 320mg twice a day is the ideal amount of GLA needed.

I take mine with my breakfast every day, its as second nature to me now as breathing. Easy to wash down with a cup of tea or coffee.The instructions on the pack suggest 3 a day. I started on 3 a day and when my symptoms cleared up I reduced it to 2 a day for maintenance of health. I suggest you try this too as your capsules last a little longer then, whilst still getting the benefit.

super product at an excellent price so I am very happy indeed and no doubt will be buying again when the bottle empties-Great.

only checked the label a month or do inskin did improvenot happy that gelatin but that just pers preferenceso won't re-ordera quality product but with gelatin capsules :(

I have used Evening Primrose on and off for years and always noticed a result very quickly. However, I am almost at the end of the second container and there is no difference in skin/nails/pmt AT ALL. If anything my nails are in a worse condition. Very disappointed. Will stick to my usual brand.

This product arrived on time and was good value for money.I would certainly order again as it had the right strength for me at the right price.
