Great product - HUGE challenge to put together!
Love this product for my quail! I added this layer to my system and now have 4 layers. The product itself is great and helps reduce food waste and I only need to fill the 5 gallon water tank once a week. So - in that regard, it's great. Now - let's talk about the assembly. Ummmm....probably one of the hardest things I ever had to put together and I have put big Ikea furniture together several times with no problems. The parts are a heavy duty plastic - but some parts are not exactly straight and the parts that have to fit together don't always perfectly line up and fit into each other. The assembly videos from the company are deceiving. They make it look really simple but it is not! They say to assemble on the rug - no way would that work - you need to assemble on a hard surface to get the leverage you need to push the pieces together. Make sure you have someone to help you - someone you love - otherwise your relationship will be ruined. My husband and I had to take breaks putting this together because we almost lost our sanity. When you finally get it all together , you think the hard part has passed, and then you have to put on the red drink cups. Do a shot before getting to that part. It's about as hard as giving birth. May the force be with all who try to assemble this unit! Will I buy this again - probably not. The only way I would is if I could pay someone to assemble it for me and I didn't have to witness it. I will DIY my next layer cage. It will be half the price and 100% less frustrating during assembly. However, if you are just starting out with quail and you mentally prepare for the feat of strength and patience needed to put this together - then go for it. Once assembled, this unit is perfect for raising quail in a shed, garage, basement, enclosed porch, etc. Not recommended for outdoors - not predator proof.

Product seems great…packaging needs some work
Cages seem great. Some panels can be a bit tight, but that happens with any plastic parts. Packing really did not survive the cross country trip. Several tears and dents in the packing. Plastic base was cracked but due to an impending hatch I assembled it anyhow.

Plastics not matching and will not snap together
Plastics not matching. Poorly made and will not snap together like what they showed on the utube videos or instruction

Very hard to assemble.
Very difficult to put together..seems it does not align as it should...really have to put some work into it to get it together. The screws for the legs do not stay in. I am going to have to find another solution for the mounting of the legs. I think it is to pricey for what you get. I am satisfied now that it is together for my purpose but i sure would not have bought this knowing the work you have to put into it to get it together. Three of us worked on putting it together. i wanted to pull my hair out.

building
0/10 to build, very difficult. After hammering, cutting, and zip tying we have gotten only half way through. Great idea though
