Works really well. Lifesavers
I recently got into raising quail for eggs. We currently have 10 hens laying and we get an egg a day from each. On Sunday, I cook a nice brunch with the eggs for our family. Quail eggs cook extremely fast so having these scissors is life saving. The eggs are small and fragile. This cuts a Perfect hole in one end and allows you to pour the eggs into the pan. They work extremely well for the cost and I would recommend them to everyone who has quail

Great for Candy Too!
I use these to cut up candy for freeze drying, and they work great! It takes a bit of getting used to, but they shear straight through caramels and other candies without issues - Mary Janes came out particularly well. I've found that using them with the cutting/guillotine part on top with the circle at the bottom is the best method for smoothly cutting candies. These could use a bit of padding on the handle or a slightly wider handle, but otherwise, they're comfortable to use and don't take too much pressure to cut. They're also easy to wash - a bit of a soak in hot, soapy water and a sponge or a trip through the dishwasher (opened up and placed in the silverware basket), and they look brand new.

Much easier than cracking tiny quail eggs. Could be improved with a little stiffer handles
I really like these. I made scrambled quail eggs the other day and opened two dozen in no time at all. No shells dropped into the mix and no mess! They do stick a little sometimes when you close them but If you hold them just right they work fine. The handles are a little flimsy so they do not always close perfectly straight and the sharp point catches on the opposite blade. Still a very handy kitchen gadget if you use small eggs like quail or pheasant.

Works great and easy to clean
Got these because it was taking so long to crack the eggs from our quail. Made short work of our pile of eggs. Only have issues with the largest and smallest of eggs. Watch your fingers, the blade is sharp.
