I have gone through 2 different carriers and this one has won by a land slide. The seat by far is my favorite. It sits baby correctly in the “M” position for back and hip support. There is a flap to unzip for extra breeze on hot days. Also so many pockets and extra length straps. There is a Velcro hip strap on top of a buckle for extra hold on the hips. I had no slippage. You can place the straps on a “H” or a “X” support on your back. The “ X” was more support in my opinion.I took this on many hike and it handles the Great sand dunes like a champ!

Saw the same carrier on Facebook for twice the amount. This one is perfect. Comfortable easy to put on and the pockets are so perfect for a quick run into the store.

my baby likes it, but the seat part digs into me, no matter how high or low that I put it. I like that the straps that are on both sides of my baby's face do not have close connectors, so they won't bother his face. I like that the arm straps have the pulleys in the front, so they're not under my arms. I don't see how the back straps could be crossed X. Under your arms will just be the nylon strap. The fabric feels kind of like denim and the sides seem to be good air circulation. Returning because of the seat bottom digging into me, as mentioned initially. Otherwise, it's nice and baby was happy sitting on the seat
