Does the job !
It’s just what I needed so I don’t always have to run a V mount battery on my rig. This allows me to run a NPF battery and power my Black Magic 6K FF for a couple of hours at a time. Also at the same time powering my monitor. Such an inexpensive and yet an incredibly useful cable.

Very useful accessory!
The two problems with the BMPCC 4k:1. the storage is expensive2. the batteries don't last longSo, for the first, you can get a USB-C SSD with a terabyte or two. Not much money, and they hold a lot.For the second, you can get a battery bank with USB-c charging.The problem is, there is only one port! so this allows you to power with the battery bank, and use the single USB-C port for storage. Much cheaper than V-battery solutions if you already have a bunch of battery packs like I do

It works just as advertised - verify compatible charger
You need to ensure your charging source (power bank and or block) are USB PD 3.0 capable or better. That USB spec carries 12v 3A which is what the bmpcc needs. It works great.

Never charged my battery
Kinda just looks like it’s charging all night but then you check in the morning and nothing still at same from yesterday but maybe I can connect to a power bank and attach to my rig for longer shooting for my black magic 4k.

You get what you pay for
Used this cable 5 times and it shorted on me on the 6th time in the middle of a live performance. Running it from a DJI high capacity battery so there’s enough voltage to supply power to the camera. Really disappointing this cable only lasted a few times.

The media could not be loaded. It came with a nice pouch to safely carry it. The cable quality was a surprise to me cos it looks so cheap online until I had it. I like to know I have value for my money. I will buy this again if I need to ✌🏽 Good job to the seller

It works but the usbc part seems a bit fragile.

It strikes a great balance—long enough to allow freedom of movement without excessive slack. However, the USB-C metal shaft that incerts into the usbc port of my power bank leaves something to be desired. It feels a bit long and gives the impression of being somewhat fragile. For a cable intended for professional use, a more robust and rigid build would instill greater confidence in its durability and long-term performance.

Beware: does not charge black magic
12V is not part of the USB-C spec, and this cable will not charge your black magic camera. I have a 6K pro and let it sit for hours plugged into a MacBook Pro charger and nothing happened. Not sure what this manufacturer expects people to do with this cable. Seems like a scam!
