First off, I absolutely love this hat. From the craftsmanship to the look and feel. It is a highly functional hat and can be worn for any season, to keep the sun out of or eyes, or the rain off of your head.The color of the dark brown which I ordered was darker than I expected, The size was what surprised me though, my head is about 24 inches so naturally I ordered the XL, and it actually has some room to move on my head as if it is just slightly too large. I am about 6ft 1inches and just over 200lbs for more size comparison. I have heard the hat (being its leather) can shrink from usage and sun. But otherwise it actually fits nicely and has room to be grown/worn in to.The Hatband is glue-gunned on, making it not functional unless you remove the glue or replace the hatband. But no complaints there from me. The brim of the hat also has wire in it so you can slightly shape the brim to your liking, though I prefer to keep mine almost flat for a Clint Eastwood feel.All and all the hat seems to be a very good buy and I love it. I will definitely buy from this brand again, if not the same hat in another color. I bought this hat as a banger/car type hat because it was on sale. I received it and put it on and wow I love this hat. Hat looks great and just feels comfortable. BUT I am kind of disappointed in the scratches and marks on the leather, but I can't bring myself to return it because this hat rocks!Minnetonka tell me how to fix the scratches and marks and I will love you and my hat forever.

My hat just arrived. I followed the whole 'fits as expected' that other people had said and measured my head then found out what size I would wear by that. I ordered a Large. It is a bit loose on my head unfortunately. BUT, the hat is amazing and looks great. It has some heft to it, but I believe that is because it is real leather. Seriously, I love this hat. I will most likely add a leather strap to it so it won't blow off my head with it being too loose. But other than that, this is an amazing hat.Before you order- look all through the ad to see if you can find a hat fit image that tells sizes. I personally couldn't find one- but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist, I possibly just missed it. IF it doesn't exist, it would be a wise idea for the seller to add something to help buyers figure out hat sizes.

Exactly what I was looking for. Floppy and foldable as described. Durable, fits almost anyone. Love it! I needed a hat for a hamburglar costume, but didn't want to buy something that I would use once and forget about. I could wear this anytime when I'm not the Hamburglar, not to mention I can travel with it without worrying about it getting squished in my bag. The gold band in my picture is something I added for the costume

I love these hats. The first order they were too large and I had to send them back, but I reordered the proper size and Have been very happy. Their were a few issues with one of the hats not being stitched or cut properly on the very top, but it still looks decent and is a great hat to wear.

I have 2 of these hats. I bought the smokey tan hat 40 years ago in a store near Tuscon, AZ. I still wear it and it still looks new. I bought the black one last year. My friend liked my black hat, so I bought him one. He didn't realize Minnetonka made hats, but said he always loved the quality of their moccasins.

The hat fits very nice, and I love the look, but for the price I paid I would have expected it to arrive in new condition, not with 2 scratches on it…
