A Great Poncho With Special History
It's a good thick poncho. It's warm. It Feels more expansive that the synthetic material it is made from. Good strong color. I ordered brown and I like it but I wouldn't mind the green either. Cool pattern. I recommend machine washing it in cold water once to get rid of all the extra lint. One thing I've noticed - it's is rectangular shaped, where is the famous poncho it is based on was a square. This is the famous poncho Clint Eastwood wears in the best movie ever made (and the best soundtrack ever played) - The Good the Bad and The Ugly. He wears it towards the end of the movie, just before they arrive to the Sad Hill Cemetery, when he uses his tranch coat to cover a dying southern army soldier, shares with him a cigar, he then leaves the body covered and takes the poncho. Love that scene. He's a killer, but he's Good.Like I told the seller, I wish it was socially exceptable to walk around in a poncho in my country...maybe some day ...(I'm like George on Seinfeld and his obsession with velvet clothing) But I definitely gonna wear it during winters in and around the house and most definitely in trips and camping. And also when the zombie apocalypse begins. I'm gonna smash zombies in this thing. For movie buffs:1. Eastwood appeared with the very same poncho in the other two parts of the trilogy - For a Few Dollars More, and Fist full Of Dollars.2. There was a huge lasting debate about the color of the poncho. It appeared green at times and brown some other times. Experts accused the camera shooting and lighting for the confusion but nobody could tell the real color of the poncho until Eastwood himself ended the mystery - it was a reversible double sided poncho, green on one side and brown on the other and Eastwood wore it differently according to his preference at that moment. Indeed they don't make clothing like this anymore, do they?3. Eastwood kept the poncho as a memoir, and still owns it to this day. It will make a great museum piece on day...

Be prepared for creases
The poncho is what I expected; however, it came in shrink wrap and the creases are still very apparent after two washes you can still see them. I did use an iron and it took several slow passes over them and it made them less apparent.

Clint Eastwood
This poncho is exactly like the one from the movie. It's a perfect replica and a great collectors item.

If you're thinking of getting it, get it!
This is awesome! I can't say enough how perfect the make, style, fit, comfort is. It looks exactly how we hoped. My son is into westward era clothing and he loves this poncho. I may get another one for myself. He's around 5 ft 9 or 10 and the length including the tassels is at just above the knee.

I Love it !
It does not scratch the skin the way some made from the same material would. It keeps you warm and because its the “SAME” as in the movies, its very cool ! Also made real sturdy, don’t have to worry about the tassels falling off. On a scale frim 1-10. I give it an 11

It’s awesome, I love it, and you should buy it too.
Awesome poncho, looks just like the one Clint wears in Fistful of Dollars, it’s nice and thick and feels authentic, the olive green color is just right, not too vibrant but not too gray. Only complaints is I wish the seam for the neck hole connected at the front so the white sewing pattern could connect and be a little more accurate to the film, but it’s as good you can find anywhere else so I’m ok with that. It also has a strange smell, I don’t know if it has anything to do with the material it’s made out of, the plastic bag it was in or it just smells wherever it was stored, but it has a sort of chemical smell, a bit musty, but some febreze should solve that. Also be warned, as you can see in the photos I posted, there will be a seam line down the middle on both sides from being folded during shipping, but I’m sure it’ll buff out with some wear, or you could just iron it out, over all, I love it, and it makes me feel badass wearing it.
