Good product
I purchase the 3/8" & 1/2" versions of the Coated Liquid-Tight Galvanized Steel Flexible Metal Conduit. I was given an old English lathe from a friend who taught at school. The motor was burnt out and someone cut it and had these similar style coated conduit. These are not a standard BX armor flex conduit in size. There is no fitting that will screw inside the conduit that I can find. However, the outside clamp will clamp properly, but it is not water proof by any means. The conduit itself will shed moisture and protect the wires inside of this conduit. Main purpose why it's in the lathe. As far as this conduit itself - I love it. However, I am not sure if it is UL listed or allowed {permitted} in residential/commercial wiring by the NEC. There are other types of conduit that do that job. Another note: You can not use this conduit as a electrical ground, due to coating on the outside, therefore, it is recommend that a ground wire be run through it for grounding machine parts.

Worked excellent for the true professionals.
Excellent product worked perfectly for my use. Black coving gives it longevity to protect the conductors..

Well made, but not for outdoors
After cutting the material, I tried to install my fittings and they would not fit correctly. This requires squeeze type connectors. Although it is well made and seemingly water tight, it seems that I cannot use it outside because of having to use squeeze connectors. And since I cut it, I now own it.

Quality: +5/5, Functionality: +5/5 ... I was pleasantly surprised!
I cannot believe how well made this is. The metal is strong, the PVC coating is a nice soft rubber feel, and overall it is very flexible and feels supple. SUPPLE! I have never felt metal conduit that felt like this or moved so smoothly! 0 regrets here.I just bought this as a replacement for a plastic tube of the same size that my wife keeps breaking. It was a compromise solution. I chose metal for durability and the PVC coating because of her fear that the metal would be rough and could conduct electricity if it touched something.

It feels a bit smaller than should
It's too tight. It's probably not 1 1/4 but 30mm..just a bit smaller then should...

Flexible, easy to cut but strong wire protection
Was looking all over for this! I use it to protect 18ga D.C. wire from chewing squirrels on my solar panels that keep my deer feeder motor batteries charged. Squirrels wreaked havoc with my panel to motor wires until I found this stuff. Now I'm happy and so is the dentist that replaces the broken squirrel teeth! Stopped them cold!

Expensive but a nice solution
This is a well-made product. I used it for around my pool and garden area. Wish it was longer but the longer the more expensive.
