Great product.
Great, light wheelchair. We only have a need for one for 6-8 weeks but buying was less expensive than renting. Relatively light at about 22 lbs and I have no problems loading into and out of our forester. Easy to expand for use or fold for storage. Two leg supports that are easy to install or remove. Seems to be well made but we have only had it for 3 weeks. Recommend a seat cushion to go with it if you anticipate extended use. It comes fully assembled so just unbox and it is ready for use.

good product
this wheelchair is 5 star because it is exactly what i wanted. i have other wheelchairs for house and gardening and they are all steel and very rugged. This chair has hard plastic pieces and may not last as long, maybe. i wanted a chair that was lighter for taxi drivers to put in taxi and is new and looks good. it is good for doctor visits and used only for this. i am a larger woman and although i am within the chair's weight limit, i believe i put more strain on the chair. it will serve me well and a smaller person, this chair will last well.

Great value but could be improved.
This is a great chair for the price. It is light enough so most people can handle it. It is made of steel so it will probably last forever. There are two screws on each of the brake levers that need to be tightened frequently. I glued a magnet to a small wrench that i keep on the chair. The chair is too wide to go through some of my doors. Because the chair folds outward, I used a leather belt on the bottom to keep it from opening all the way. It fits through the doors very nicely while still maintaining its proper shape. The belt broke after a week, so I replaced it with a cable and clamps. A turnbuckle would have been better, but I didn't have time to make one.

Exceeding my expectation
Husband had an amputation on his right foot due to illness. His physical therapist loaned us a light weight wheelchair from the hospital before his electrical chair is delivered. That wheelchair was light weighted (I still feel heavy) and was easy for hubby to maneuver compares to others he had used in the hospital. We were told that particular chair cost more than a thousand. His electrical chair was delivered and the loan wheelchair was returned. However, the electrical chair was 500 lbs, and it is impossible for me to take him out with it. Therefore finding him another wheelchair is a must. I found this one on Amazon with a very reasonable price and looked sturdy, so I thought just gave a try. Hubby is 5'10", 170 lbs. I bought 18" for him and he sits in comfortably. To our surprise, It is not only extremely easy and effortless for him to maneuver, but it is also light in weight so I can easily transport in and out of our car. I would say I made my husband dropped his jaw, he couldn't believe I was able to find him a wheelchair with all the qualities of the previous loaned one, but better with much lower price as we would have expected. The easy folding is another plus. I would only say the foot rest installation was a bit confused to us and the manual was not clear at all, we had to figure it out ourselves. Now I need to find out if I can lock the foot rest so it wouldn't swing easily. Other than this minor issue, we are very happy and satisfied with the purchase.

Sturdy, long lasting, and perfect for most users.
I run a rent anything business in Austin called Heron. We rent everything from wheelchairs to laser tag to air mattresses. Adding a piece of inventory includes days of careful research to make sure we're adding a dependable, durable, and long lasting product for us and our customers. We now have 5 of these Medline Wheelchairs in inventory with the original wheelchair being over 4 years old. The wheelchair is easy to navigate, lightweight compared to other wheelchairs but NOT transfer chairs, and shockingly durable. The seat portion of the wheelchair incredibly looks the same as the day we purchased it. The seat is slightly larger than an airplane seat, perfect for most people. This is a great wheelchair, you won't be disappointed.

Just Right
just perfect for what I need (only issue is it doesn't roll well on carpet), it does, but just have to make sure your weight is distributed to the back and go slow, but this chair is comfortable and easy to maneuver. It has given me a new sense of freedom

Lightweight, Practical and Comfortable
Bought this for my 'second Mom' after her hip replacement to use for longer walking distances right after her surgery. This is the same brand and almost the same the rehab center used. It's fairly light for a wheel chair so I can lift it fairly easily to put it in the trunk. It has the cut away arms so you can push it up to a table. What amazed me was that my 'Mom' could sit up in it for 2 hours without complaining about the comfort. I needed that comfort to take her to a caregiver where she would sit for a couple of hours. The rehab center told me that the trick is to buy the seat pads. The ones I bought here on Amazon were the Secure SCSS-1 Convex Wheelchair Sling Seat Support for the base to eliminate the sag in any wheelchair sear. Then on top of that I put the Hermell Convoluted Wheelchair Cushion, Egg Crate Foam Cuschion. She liked it so much, that sometimes she preferred to sit in the wheelchair at home rather than her usual family room chair. The legs are easy to put on and take off. They also swing away. A nice feature is a an adjustable pad on the legs to support the calf. (They also elevate, but I haven't used that feature.) Going over curbs and small steps is easy.
