Burt's Bees Baby - Washcloths, Absorbent Knit Terry, Super Soft 100% Organic Cotton (Blueberry Stripe, 3-Pack)

This was made through a licensing deal so it is not from Burt's Bees (sadly Clorox bought out Burt's Bee's and clearly the brand manager as no clue how to maintain quality standards with licensing deals). These were made in India, the sewing quality and quality of fabric are so poor, definitely not in "giftable" condition. The sewist in the factory sewed the tiny little plastic thing that is a part of the paper tag right into the seam (the "T" section) and it was impossible to remove it without cutting a tiny hole into the 2 washcloths that were made that way so most likely they will fall apart quickly in the wash. These may be organic however I doubt it. They were off gassing a horrific odor.

Very disappointed in these washcloths. First time ordering BB’s and last time. I’ve used cotton baby washcloths on my face for 30yrs so I might know a little bit. The lowest amount of cotton I ever use is 85%. These feel more like a polyester or rayon with maybe some cotton put in but certainly not 100% cotton. This just pushes the soap around and doesn’t absorb or lift away the soap into the cloth. I washed them prior to use using cloths detergent and vinegar in the rinse cycle to make sure there’s no manufacturing chemical residue so that’s not a reason. If you’re looking for real cotton theses aren’t the ones for you. I do like the edge so they don’t roll but that’s all I like.

I just received this, and it's still just 2 boxes of washclothes, including 3 washcloths in each box. However, the card on the bottom of the package still reads "4 piece set" and the washcloths are supposed to have come with a body wash bottle, which is missing from the package. Check other reviews to see this has happened alot. This doesn't matter much if you are just after the cloths and don't care about giving it as a gift, but if you give it as a gift the label clearly reads '4 piece set" and the person you give it to is going to think you stiffed them on the body wash and kept it for yourself.

3 Standard washcloths with one plain side and one terry side. The tag says they’re 100% organic cotton and made in Cochin, India. It doesn’t have a GOTS certified label, nor did it come with any other organic certification or a box.

I purchased Burt's Bees Baby 100% Organic Cotton Washcloths as a gift for a friend. The product description only listed 6 washcloths, but they came packaged in 2 boxes, 3 washcloths to a box with a space in each box. The label on the box lists 4 pieces, 3 washcloths and a bottle of shampoo/body wash. I would not be upset with only 3 items in the box if the label didn't indicate there should be 4! Please either change the packaging or actually send the bottle of shampoo/wash as indicated on the box.

At first I loved these because of how cute they look and the two sides (one being soft for babies face and the other being a little tougher to wipe spit up off of clothing). They are also small which is good for keeping in different places in the house and throwing in the hamper after a few uses. However, after just a month of use and multiple washes they have not held up and look really beat up. The white ones have a grey trim so you can't really bleach them to keep them white and they are oddly shaped so for my OCD self it's annoying to never be able to fold them in a nice square. For the high cost of them compared to just getting a huge pack of white washcloths they are not worth it.

Small face clothes 8-9" square, thin t-shirt-weight terry velour on one side and jersey on the other. Soft but thin. One gray and two white towels. (Have issue with BBB tag punched into edge binding which leaves a hole even when carefully removed. Plastic tag attachment inside the binding left the sharp end inside the binding, hazardous to soft skin, hence minus one star. Could easily have been punched in though the wash instruction tags. Other than that, I love these small facecloths and will be getting more.

** Updating my review a couple of months later to add a star. These cloths have been a pleasure to use as face towels. Though they're not plush like luxurious towels, they are soft and very absorbent. They've worked very well. The clipped tags are a minor annoyance.------I could find better cloths at the dollar store in Japan, but this is America and we have crap product quality.These are fine. I bought them to use as face towels for skin care. They are much thinner than I expected, like a soft t-shirt rather than a towel. The designs (like florals) only appear on 1 side; simple colors or stripes appear on both. Maddeningly, there are THREE tags on these washcloths, 2 on one side and 1 on the other, which does nothing but get in the way and are difficult to cut off.They're reasonably absorbent so they'll serve the purpose.

Soft and decent quality

Muy utiles, yo los uso para todo: limpiar a mi bebé, repetidor, al momento del baño para cubrirle su pancita remojado con agua tibia... la calidad es muy buena y son muy suaves, primero compré los repetidores de la misma marca que son mas grandes y gruesos que estos y me gustaron mucho por lo que me animé a comprar estas de lma misma marca y quede muy satisfecha con mi compra.

I really want to love these as I'm a huge fan of almost everything Burt's Bees. We also really like natural and neutrals and were excited we didn't have to get stripes and colours. However, they're just not very soft and probably could have found a better cloth for a cheaper price.

Están preciosos. A la vista de nota la calidad de la tela. Además, al limpiarle al bebé no quedan todos embarrados como los de otras marcas que fácilmente se ponen tiesos.Además, los colores en los que vienen son increíbles!

I’m pleased with the quality and I’m glad to say that there isn’t a strange scent to these towels.Only thing to note is that in the picture the white towels appear to have a “heather” texture to them. In person it’s pure white.
