Working in Corrections I needed a better way to hold my mic on the front of my uniform and not have it fly off when responding to an incident or in a tussle with an inmate. I like that it is clear so it doesn't stand out on my white uniform and it is very easy to use. It appears to be durable as it is very rigid plastic but only time will tell.

I have worked as a police officer for 20+ years in Minnesota. I have always carried a portable radio on my duty belt with an external mic. Most of the time I would have the mic attached to a shoulder epaulette on my uniform shirt. During the winter months I would attach the mic to the front of my uniform shirt which was more user friendly when wearing a winter coat. The Mic Tight creates a stable and secure platform for you to attach the shoulder mic to your uniform shirt. The Mic Tight attaches quickly and easily to (2) of the buttons on your uniform shirt. Once attached you just clip your shoulder mic and your done. Product is reasonably priced, made in the USA. I would highly recommend this product.

I was shopping around for a mic loop to better secure my shoulder mic to my uniform shirt. I found The Mic Tight clip and I am very happy I did! It's easy to put on and take off your uniform and is hardly noticeable unless you point it out. It is VERY durable. I can tug hard on my mic and it will not come off my shirt with the Mic Tight. The design allows a shoulder mic to clip on and stay put, especially out in the field.A must buy for any Law Enforcement or Public Safety official out on patrol.

Edit: broke only a few months after I got it. Worked well until it didn’t.I work corrections. I have been struggling with my mic clip for months. I don’t like the shoulder loop mic holders, and my mic clip can’t grasp on my shirt. This seems to resolve my dilemma. Aside from the strange looks I get from colleagues, it has been working readily.

I work in corrections and it held the mic ok but would still come off. Also twisted on the button area where it was placed making the uniform shirt look all wrinkly. Still better than not having it risking for the mic to swing all over the place.

I work in a jail and this really helps with the mic on the radio it’s really good quality and fits very well on my uniform buttons. It was worth the money and would definitely buy it again.

Works and it secures the mic great.
