Solar Paper doesn't contain any internal battery so it can't store the energy. You can always connect to any power bank you have and store the energy in it.

Q: How many panels come for $135

Hello Sarrah, Unfortunately I cannot answer this question precisely. I first gave a pledge of $149. This was for the 10Watts solar paper (main module +3 extra panels -->4*2,5 Watts). Later as the design was modified to have 15Watts maximum power output I raised my pledge for 2 additional panels. But there were several different types of pledges to be placed with different solar paper setups, so I cannot clearly track back how much it was. My last total was $227 including shipping (not sure about customs anymore). You should rather get back to YOLK directly if wanting a clear answer, sorry for this. www.yolkstation.com

Q: Since this is so thin, does it come with a case to protect it from breaking into pieces?

I've got mine from Kickstarter campaign, it came with soft case. It looks like it has the same soft case - according to the picture.

Dear John, Auto-reset feature is helpful if you want to charge your device while walking or hiking. As you walk, you will be passing under the shades. Many other solar charging products will turn itself powered off if you walk under the shade. Eventhough you are exposed to the Sun again, solar charger won't powered on itself, which means you NEED TO UNPLUG AND REPLUG AGAIN everytime you walk under the shade. You will get annoyed. However, Solar Paper has auto-reset feature to free you from trouble. Auto-reset means Solar Paper will smartly get itself powered on if you walk under the Sun again after walking under the shades. Overpriced

Its too overpriced. You can get a solar panel paper thin just like this and buy some charger circuit nd get going under 2000 ruppes nd it will work way better than this.
