Genuine Toyota 68620-35020 Door Check Assembly

I thought I would need to replace the driver-side window regulator in my 2004 4Runner, because of the clunking sound when the window was raised and lowered. However, I learned that it's this part -- called a "door check" -- that was worn to the point where it and the regulator were coming into contact. I bought this item, at a price far lower than the dealer's price, removed the door panel (using plastic interior-trim removal tools, not screw drivers), removed the speaker (four 10mm bolts) and in minutes had this installed and working perfectly. Could hardly have been easier, and I shudder to think what the dealer would have charged. So, once I knew what the problem was, this OEM part solved it at a very reasonable price.

I bought this for my 2007 Toyota 4Runner and it fixed the problem. It was fairly easy to install and took about 30 minutes. Much better price compared to the dealer price. The driver side window was making noise when getting close to bottom. This is a common issue and the part worked perfect.

easy to install. fine part. I ended up returning mine because it didnt fix the problem with my 2011 tacoma. still banged against the window channel. Fixed it another way.

OEM part so it fit perfectly. Very happy with my purchase. Popping noise when opening/closing the door is finally gone.

My 2008 4runner’s driver window would make a noise as it goes down and up because of contact with the door checker. So I’ve bought this to replace it, it was easy to replace and the noise was gone and the problem was solved but that lasted only 2 months.
