We enjoy using this, but I wish it had more illustration options and I wish the illustrations were less "cartoonish" - but it works for the time being.

I used this to learn how to draw columns...the instructions are great. He has a videoon youtube that is helpful also. Very happywith the results of the book.

Great book with directions that are easy to follow! My middle school child has used multiple times for Latin class assignments. Definitely worth the $$.

Mythological characters, Minoan bulls and dolphins, characters from various walks of life, columns, borders and everyday items like jugs and olive branches are simply presented in this great little book. Easy enough for early elementary kids to feel successful, but a wide enough selection for older kids (and me!) to enjoy as well.

I got this for my son who likes art but gets frustrated when his drawings dont look good enough. This book makes it really easy for drawings to look quite realistic with its step by step guide. It is also great to learn about the Greek civilisation as part of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

Looks like a nice book with good instructions for lots of elements of Ancient Greece.HOWEVER:I have three copies of the same book, bound as one to make it look thicker. As I leafed through I was surprised to see on the Greek alphabet page the words “Sadly, we have come to the end of this book..” when there were many more pages after it. I flipped on and saw the first few pages of the book again. On further flipping, I can see that the content is actually repeated in full three times! Have given two stars as the content looks fine, but this is a swizz.It looks like a good book with good instructions, but this has left a sour taste. Maybe other people just have a single copy, I can’t understand why this hasn’t come up in a review before.

A great book for the Y4 Ancient Greece topic! As were Covid homeschooling when the topic came up, this book was a fantastic resource, helping my daughter craft a Gods & Goddesses Top Trumps, a Gorgon Medusa face mask, a Trojan horse and lots more.
