There are two considerations when evaluating 'non-OEM' batteries and chargers:1) DO THE NON OEM BATTERIES WORK IN YOUR CAMERA, IN MY CASE A SONY ZV-1?Yep--they work perfectly. No differences whatsoever in terms of performance, battery life, charging speed, etc.2) DO THE OEM BATTERIES WORK IN THE NON OEM CHARGER?Like a charm. My Sony branded batteries charge just as well in this charger as any other I've tried. As was the case above, they charge as quickly as the batteries that came with the charger.VERDICT?We have a winner! For the end user (that would be me, or it will be you if you buy these batteries) these batteries are identical to the OEM batteries. You name it, you probably won't be able to tell any difference in battery life, charge time, performance, etc. This is based exclusively on how they worked in my ZV-1 but I can't imagine they wouldn't work as well in any other camera that uses the NP-BX1 battery. Highly recommended!

Really like the ability to charge two batteries at once or just one if that's all that's needed. Plus the charge status displays, one for each battery slot, is a real nice touch. The unit is compact and gives you the choice of using the permanently attached USB cable or the much longer separate USB cable, depending on the distance to your power source. I only gave a 4 star rating for longevity but only because I've only done a few charging cycles but do anticipate long service life.All in all this is a very nice unit for a great price. Recommended.

The rated battery capacity is 1600mAh and 5.92Wh, which on paper would provide superior battery life to Sony's own NP-BX1 (rated at 1240mAh), but in practice things work out differently. I tested the fully charged PowerExtra battery with my Sony ZV-1, recording in 4k, 30 frames per second, with a data rate of 100Mbps, and it lasted for 52 minutes and 31 seconds. That's not bad for a battery that size, but it didn't last as long as the fully charged Sony NP-BX1 which lasted several minutes longer.I'm giving it four stars anyway since the battery life was still acceptable for its format and the price is less than half of Sony's own NP-BX1.

I’ve been using Powerextra batteries in my Canon DSLRs for a long time. And a couple years ago I got a pair of Powerextra replacement batteries for my old Makita 9V drill. I’ve found Powerextra batteries to be dependable at a reasonable price. When I got my new Sony RX100M7 take-everywhere pocket cam, since it’s power hungry, I needed an extra battery or two… and a charger. I was already a fan of USB chargers, which are more versatile than their AC cousins since they can be used from just about anywhere – a portable power bank, computer, car, or even the wall… anywhere you have a USB port or adapter. The fact that this one has two wells and a display made it extra enticing. And two batteries… all at a great price. What’s not to like?I ordered one as soon as my Sony RX100M7 arrived and have been pleased with the performance of the batteries and the charger.Oh, yeah… by the way, there is a surprise bonus built into the charger. I don’t see it promoted anywhere, but there is a connected, built-in USB cable that fits perfectly into a groove in the bottom of the unit. (See my photo.) I know the package comes with a separate USB cable, too, but this short one packs away in the base perfectly for travel.And even better – I had a VERY impressive response to my inquiry with Powerextra customer service. I was a couple weeks beyond Amazon’s 30-day return policy, and I found a small problem with one of the batteries (the end plate on the contact end came unglued). I got a VERY quick response to my inquiry and a generous offer to replace the defective battery. First time I’ve ever had a problem with a Powerextra product. Their speedy, friendly response made me feel that I can always buy Powerextra products with confidence, as they are interested in taking care of the customer for the long haul.I highly recommend this Powerextra USB dual charger with two replacement batteries for Sony NP-BX1. Very handy little charger with the ability to charge 2 battries at once. The extra batteried come in their own case so they are not just loose in the camera bag. The LCD feature is nice so you can monitor the battery as it charges. Having several ways to charge is helpful.
