Great Book on Perspective
I read this book as a regular book. Read through all the chapters, and didn’t really follow the suggestion in the beginning where it asked the reader to rate themselves and take a survey. Then, read the book based on the result of your survey. Regardless, I found it very valuable to just read through it all. I found my self doing my own mental assessment as I read through each chapters. I was able to compare my current situation in managing my own fears and dread relative to each of the key points in the book. I think, overall, I’ve become better at looking for ways to overcome a fear of something in my career just by simply reading this book. The point is add perspective to the things you fear, become fearless to get pass through them, if you do fail, try again with the spirit!

A Psychologist's review...
As a human being, at some point in your life you will need a book like this to help you fight your deepest fears whether it may be speaking up for yourself at work, performance anxiety or maybe you are just stuck in an anxious/fearful state and need help to change your situation. This is one of the most effective and empowering books I have ever read. A great book on overcoming life's obstacles and accomplishing your goals and dreams. Very well written and very easy to read with just enough real life stories to motivate you into action.I was really inspired by the sections under chapter 7 on Resilience: "Training th Fighter Within", "How to Hang Tough" and "Mental Toughness". This book is great for people who feel they have lost contol of their lives and want to regain a feeling of empowerment. Remember it isn't how many times you have been knocked down but how many times you get back up that counts! Buy the Book!

interesting ideas on fear handling
Well, this book was particularly helpful to me in generating ideas on handling fear. Not that the the ideas came exactly from the book, but it inspired me on how to develop similar ideas on fear handling in my life. Definitely recommended. But another book that delves into fear even more is : Navy SEALS Training Guide: Mental ToughnessLars Draeger.

Superb
This book is so amazing that I cannot believe they have not done an audible version yet. This book deserves to be read and rated hundreds of thousands of times and be a best seller. Every page is pure gold and zero fluff. This is my favorite book among the dozens of best sellers I have read.

Adrenaline rush
It might sound silly to some, but I bought this for adrenaline rushes I would get while playing PC games competitively at local events, or online money tournaments. The techniques here really helped me focus in, breath, and calm me down. I highly recommend this if you wish to understand more about yourself, and become more relaxed and in control.

An excellent guide on how to function better in arenas that require high focus. Have bought this book for multiple friends as gifts. Once you take the test at the beginning you can jump around the book and work on what you want to work on. Well done Dr. Greene!

A good reference for self-defense
The author who is a former police officer and martial arts instructor provides a good background for training methods for self-defense/offense. But in order to be good at anything you have to practice it which most of us find difficlut to do as we age and have other obligations and interests. Still, I would recommend having this book in your library for reference and inspiration to practice.
