Magpul MOE Mil-Spec Fixed Stock , Flat Dark Earth, 12.2" length

Overall, I am happy with this stock. It installed quickly, fit perfectly, and does its job well. I gave it a try because I am not really a fan of adjustable stocks (mainly because I almost never adjust them). It is lightweight, feels fairly sturdy, and has multiple sling attachment points. It is a no-frills, fixed stock. It is slightly shorter than the standard A2, but I never measured how much.I MIGHT like it a bit better if it were 1/2" shorter (don't hear THAT too often), and if the heel were rounded it may be better for rolling it up from low ready, but those aren't deal-breakers, and I would gladly purchase another one.

This is your standard magpul quality. Easy to install. It's LOP out of the box is ROUGHLY equivalent to an adjustable stock either two or three clicks out from the shortest setting. That's what I'd be using anyway, and I like the look of a fixed stock; I hate seeing the buffer tube. Only downside is you have to buy a separate mount kit to put QD sling attachments on it, but it's only like $10 from Primary Arms or wherever. The biggest advantage is this: it fits over a standard carbine buffer tube. It's a fixed stock without needing a fixed buffer tube. Overall, I'd say if the LOP fits your needs and you like the look of a fixed stock, it's 100% worth your dollars to get this.

I have bought several of these for various build projects and like with any Magpul product never disappointed. In this case simple yet effective design, lightweight, solid feel when shot. It's a fixed stock, obviously, so if your the type that prefer the carbine length rather than the slightly longer rifle length or "A2" stock this may be a solution. This particular color I am partial to and it currently resides on my AR. Stupid easy to install, like 30 seconds! Included sling attachment options for various sling types. Various color options.

Great looking stock seems well built, very affordable, 1 con for me was the length of pull, it was a bit to short for me so I made a notch in the buffer tube to add to the length. .worked like a charm. Would definitely recommend but would warn anyone with long arms that need a bit more pull this might not be for them if they do not want to modify the tube.

The Magpul fixed carbine stock is a very good choice for the money. I wanted a stock for cqb with a solid lockup and it had to be lightweight. It arrived quickly thanks to amazon and installed in 2 minutes. Very sturdy and feels great. I dont know if i would rely on it for a go to war stock as its held on with one screw and nut. But i think it would be just fine honestly seeing as its designed by magpul. Only downside is i wish they would include a qd swivel point insert. 4 stars

Instructions were simple. It fit on a variety of AR platform firearms with ease! Very comfy to rest your cheek on; there is no harsh rubbing on the face. The padding on the butt stock is rubberized, but the rubber is only about 2~3 cm thick. There is other butt plates for this stock if you wish for a thicker rubber buttstock. Fantastic productVery lightweight, keeping the overall weight of the firearm down! Sturdy too!

An awesome piece of weapons tech. I rebuilt an MKA-1919 with all the bells and whistles so it could be a nice looking Custom AR-12 Shotgun. This was the final piece to make my dream weapon platform a reality. After all the internal modifications and the addition of a custom lower receiver, this was the cake topper. A custom fixed stock to help contain the massive recoil, improve aesthetics and add just the right amount of length to the rifle. The results were an inexpensive, complete modification and upgrade, to an already awesome weapons system.

Wow! This has to be one of the best stock options created for the AR platform. Magpul makes the best of everything and this, they could not have done any better on. It comes with two different mounts giving you adjustment options. I'm a bigger guy (6'2") so the longer mount fit perfect.I would recommend this over any cheap adjustable stock on the market. Unless you are LE or MIL, an adjustable stock is useless to you. It changes the parameters of your gun and affects your shooting mechanics, and the last time I checked, that's a good way to shoot like crap. I doubt most people are going to switch from CQB to long range fire on the fly so do yourself a favor and get a fixed stock!
