Better function, better looks, better life
After the Traaxas center shaft broke (with less than 10 hours of use) we replaced it with this set from Hot Racing. These were easy to install, work great and we expect them to last a long time.

Lock tight the tiny pins under the rubber boots
The steel pins are only held in by the rubber boots. On my first run one of the pins fell out. Maybe I didn’t push the boot on all the way, maybe some sticks and debris pushed the boot off, either way, they should be roll pins or have a metal sleeve holding the pins in. At the very least some darn lock tight! Rubber boots that can easily slide off should not be the only thing holding the steel pins in place. Drove out to meet up with family for a fun day of driving RC cars just to break down after 5 minutes of drive time due to these stupid pins only being held in place by a rubber boot. I spent the next hour watching my family have fun. When your in a small town in Arkansas, it wasn’t easy to find a steel pin that would fit. I ended up finding a Traxxas pin from old parts that was close enough to fit (slightly shorter) and then I lock tighted all the pins in place before sliding the rubber boots back on. Moral of the the story- if you buy these, I recommend lock tight on ALL the pins under the rubber boots or you will loose a pin eventually. I feel the quality of the units are excellent with great potential over the stock plastic shafts- but HR fell short on designing a way to hold the tiny pins in place. Not even some lock tight? Come on, how hard could that have been.

This doesn't fit my erevo.
I bought these for my erevo brushless edition, and the rear center shaft is too short. The title of these states that these are meant for the "erevo". The front shaft does fit but I am not just going to use one of the two driveshafts for the amount of money I paid for these. The only reason I gave it a 2 stars is because they do look and feel like they are well built and look like they would've lasted. They definitely look like good quality.
