Works great with a Shure MV7
After searching many options for a shockmout for my boom-mounted MV7, I settled on this one, and have had a great experience so far. With the stock mount, I used to be able to lightly tap my table and hear the reverb in my headphone monitors, and now the only reverb I can hear is if I touch the microphone itself. This is a very effective, reasonably priced mount that fits the large MV7. The fasteners fit well, though there can be a little bit of play in the hinge if you don't tighten it enough -- but it never droops by itself.

Bigger size shock mount, perfect fit if you know the size of your mic, really good quality, worth the price!
LOVE THIS! I have an MXL770 (?), a pretty thick mic, the thickest there may be. It works perfectly with the boom stand I already had. The mic fits snug and works just fine with this shock mount. No complaints at all. Even came with extra straps for the shock mount.

One tiny gotcha
My only beef is that the thumbscrew on the mic mount is somewhere between hard to tighten and easily gone slack. Or it could just be me.Not much of a problem ...Update: loosened thumbscrew and reseated. May have been a foreign object in there! Seems to work fine now.

Size issue
I bought this to use with my Studio Projects B1. The description indicated it would work, but I had to add a sleeve to get it to hold the mic.

Great mount for MXL 990
I bought this shock mount as a replacement for the MXL 990 as the original mount was stripped.Much to my surprise, this product seems to be identical to the MXL mount and that's a good thing IMO.Great value, looks nice, seems sturdy and a nice replacement.

Best for big mics!
I have a very nice Aston Stealth mic, but it's too big for 99% of the shock mounts out there. I found this gem for 20 bucks and it works like a charm. Easy to set up and compliments a 400 dollar mic very well.

Broke first minute lol
Very light and cheap materialIt broke right away and ruined the whole project. Now I’m delayed to wait for another one!Don’t go for a cheaper mount :/ not worth it

Pretty good Shockmount - does NOT fit the AT3035
This actually looks like a pretty nice shockmount for the price. It seems a good weight and well made. I want to point out that it did NOT fit my AT 3035. It was too fat and my mic was too thin. If you look right below my thumbnail, you can see the gap. I tried wrapping the mic in something to make it fit since it has the spring loaded holder but it just wouldn't stay. put. I returned it but if you have a fatter mic, I think this would work well. It fit right on the the floor swing arm mic stand I have.
