They are ok
That the cover doesn't lay flat against the outlet. So there is a gap and makes it frustrating to use the outlet

Pretty cheap looking
They do their job fine. Sometimes the outlet gets out of alignment, sometimes it just randomly pushes the plugs out of the outlet.

Better than plugs
My grandson quickly figured out how to pull the plastic safety plugs from electric sockets. Once he figured out how to do that, he would not leave them alone. These electrical outlet covers are perfect! My grandson doesn’t even notice the socket cover and it prevents him from putting something else in it.

plugs do not stay in contact with outlet
Product is easy to install. Slides do not always slide back when plug removed. The biggest issue is that some plugs do NOT stay in contact with the outlet. For example, cell phone chargers slip out enough so that the phone doesn't charge.spend the money on more expensive child protecting outlet covers.

Got these for my daughter. My one year old grandson wouldn’t leave the outlets alone. Of course I was concerned so I got these. My son in law installed them and problem solved! My daughter says its still easy to use the outlet when you need to. You get so many its a great value.

A must if you have toddlers
As a grandparent of a toddler, safety is foremost in my mind. I received these and immediately installed one at my daughter's new house to verify how easy it is; and they are extremely easy to install. Due to the thickness of the outlet plates, the company had the foresight to include spacers which makes for a sturdy installation. By default, the outlets are "closed". You open them by putting your plug prongs on the plug openings and then slide the plug to the open position, and then insert the plug. When you remove the plug, the outlet automatically closes. Other type covers require that you locate the cover and reinstall them after pulling your plug. These covers are very convenient. Since my other daughter is expecting in about 3 months, I guess I'll be buying more.

It's thick and prevents some items from getting connected
Some item plugs are too short to make the connection to get power forcing you to use another outlet that doesn't have this plate
