Better in person than pictured
I realize that to say 5 stars in the "Value for money" category may not make sense to some, considering it is a toy for over $100. To me, it is more than that. It is a fantastic replica of one of my favorite movies. The detailed paint on each figure and the environment cannot be displayed in a picture.Shipping was very fast and I did not realize it was shipping in the actual box manufactured for store shipping, so it does not get any more mint than that. If I had the money, I would buy more in this series. As it is, it took me over a year to save up for this one, but worth every penny.

So glad I found this!
Every Star Wars fan would appreciate this, no matter their age. The Rancor pit scene has always been a favorite for most, so naturally this set would appeal to our liking. Its a stunning set, although pricey. Its a great size, not small at all. The Rancor alone stands about 10-12 inches. A must have for any Collector. I cant wait to get the At-At Walker set next!

Less than I expected
The Rancor was very well done. The shipper did a fantastic job protecting it. It came in its original Hasboro box too. The supporting characters were really small and weren’t of any real detail to speak of. It still brings back good memories, and that kept it from being a lower rating. Again, the shipper did a fantastic job keeping the merchandise pristine.

Awesome collectible.
This was really awesome. Bought for my daughter and the quality is great and it's way bigger than I expected. Really nice.

Item description false: NOT 3.75 figures. Box ruined.
First of all, the smaller figures in this are NOT the 3.75 inch figures as described. They're not even just different versions with less articulation than the standard Power of the Force (etc.) figures. They're noticeably smaller as well, and Leia and C-3P0 in particular look more like cake toppers than action figures. I held up a true POTF figure next to the Luke character (without removing him from the box) and the difference was stark. Shorter by a little, the bigger difference was that everything about these Rancor sets figures is mini compared to actual 3.75 figures. It's not just a height thing, in other words. Jabba also looks small compared to a real 3.75 inch figure--less like Jabba and more like a prepubescent offspring of Jabba. The Rancor probably isn't to scale, but that's neither noticeable nor expected. But when Leia looks like a shrunken 11 year old next to a 3.75 Han, and Jabba only goes up to 3.75 inch Han's chest area, it's clear these are different lines completely. As toys, if you're looking for consistency with POTF figures, or if you think you're getting four 3.75 inch figures to check off your list along with a Rancor and Jabba (as I did) you'll be disappointed. Like I said: cake toppers is more like it.As a collectors item, the pieces inside look pretty good if you ignore the above issues. The Rancor especially has great detail. But the shipping method is awful for something that many people are clearly and likely to keep displayed in the box. I mean, that should at least be an OPTION for a buyer. But there was packing tape applied to multiple sides of the box--directly--and to get it off you have to rip the face of the box or use an exact-o-knife and just leave it on, likely along with some edges of bubble wrap. Mine also had a small hole in the plastic face, and the guard character was knocked loose inside (though I'll admit the seller couldn't have done much to prevent THAT one). But the failure of this item to meet basic standards as a sleek collector's item on a shelf is clear. For $140, this is way overpriced, and to obtain a Rancor, there seem to be enough other, better options. I went with this one because I thought the 4 characters made it a bonus. Not so much.

This thing is so cool! My son loves this
This thing is so cool! My son loves this, and so do I! Well worth the $100. It's to scale, and you can even put victims in it's mouth.
