These large patches are very sticky. They stretch too, so you can get them placed just right. Unfortunately, they will start to peel up a tiny bit, then get caught on your clothing, and then keep peeling off. But this doesn't happen right away. I have been using these on my stomach and side area where I have shingles. The sores are healed but the underlying nerve pain is just unreal. I use two of these to cover the length from my front to my side. Then I use cloth First Aid tape to tape down the edges. Works like a charm! The Salonpas medication eases the nerve pain and the pad itself blocks my clothing from rubbing on the skin which would cause more irritation. It's a great solution for me! I highly recommend these pads!

Salon Pas works well for lower back pain for me. Patch stays in place until removed.
