I searched for quite a while and decided to try this topper. I never thought it would make such a huge difference in the comfort of my extra firm bed. I have back problems (thus the firm bed) and while I had the support I needed, it was very uncomfortable on my hips, shoulders and knees of all places. I'm a side sleeper and also keep a pillow between my knees to help alleviate low back pain. I was concerned that the Super Soft Topper would sink deep, but that is not the case at all. It totally supports my pressure points and is Super Comfortable and has a slight "bounce" to it - which I prefer. There is no comparison between this and the sink you get from memory foam that sorta glues you in place and makes it difficult to turn over. I also purchased the Soft Heaven zippered cover to protect it and even with this cover and mattress cover over it, it still sleeps cool. Also, rather than the nasty chemical smell of memory foam, this topper had a vanilla like odor that was very pleasant. Its also very soft to the touch, but is still sturdy. I'm hoping it lasts for years to come!

I ordered the 1.5" topper in the super soft density. It is pretty great, but I think you need to give some thought to what density and thickness you choose for best results. Here are my thoughts:Appearance and Fit: While in the photos these toppers look smooth and white, in person it looks like the color and texture of all of the other mattress toppers you see on Amazon. It seems slightly larger (about an 1" in each direction) than my king size bed.Comfort and Feel: I put this on top of a new pillow top bed that felt a little stiff for side sleeping. I like a soft top layer and this thing is like sleeping on a cloud! It is very soft but still pushes back against you. It is difficult to describe but it is basically a giant rubber sponge. Sounds like a bad thing but it is not. Even though it is soft, it is still pretty easy to adjust positions. I'm 5 11 160lbs and I sink pretty deep into it.. For people that are shorter/heavier I could see where you would sink too much if you got the super soft density in the 2" or 3". Or if you sleep only on your back, a little firmer density might be a good idea. But, if youre relatively light and like a soft feel the 1.5 inch is super soft is great. Additionally, note that this thing is very pliable, so I would not recommended it to revitalize a sagging bed as it will just follow the contour of the sag for sure.Odor: Some reviews say it smells and some say it doesn't. The reality is that it has a slight natural rubber smell out of the box. It is not offensive to me and I'm very sensitive to smells. I have had memory foam toppers that have a very strong chemical smell that lasts for weeks. This is not like that at all. But to say it has no oder is not accurate.

Received topper Sept 9, it’s now almost a month later and the smell is still so strong. Besides the bad smell, topper is soft and what we are looking for.

The topper is 3inches thick, I clicked helpful vote for another accidentally. It is not as soft as my talalay pillows though, so not quite sure if it is 14 ILD or not.

I don’t typically leave reviews but wanted to say- if you’re on the fence about buying this just do it! This was the best price I could find for a latex type topper. We added it to our Avocado green mattress (latex) that was a bit too firm for me. The “soft” version is perfect and 1” thickness was enough support for me and my partner. It overlaps the corners of the king bed a little so we may have to trim it with a scissors but it’s no big deal. Had a faint rubbery smell upon unpacking but it dissipated quickly. Does not sleep hot- which is hugely important in the South! Love it!

We recently purchased a new foam mattress. It is a medium firmness.Comfortable,but a little to hard. After adding the 1" supersoft topper it is perfect . Still have the support, but nice and soft on top. Virtually no smell to it at all, it is delicate though so be careful opening.

I bought this to top a new 6" spring mattress that is specifically designed for bunk beds. For safety reasons bunk beds shouldn't have a mattress thicker than 6", but I decided to try this 1" topper just to add a but of softness. It adds a surprising amount of comfort with only adding a small amount of height to the uncomfortable bunk bed spring mattress.Also, this had no odor at all--nothing like the alarming chemical smell that comes off the memory foam.Great purchase.
