I have ordered the audio system in 2019 and been using it for about 10 months now. Installation was relatively easy - our For Focus C-MAX not the best car to modify when it comes to the reversing camera, as lots of plastic panels that are hard to remove and refit, but I got there in the end. There are lots of ways you can install this unit, and when I hit a wall with installation and connected the seller, they responded within two days with a written installation guide supported with a youtube video to show what the result should be. This really impressed me!Right after the installation I went on long a drive in Europe (2000 miles) - and I must say the GPS, and the unit itself was spot on and it was really useful.- Easy to install, the manual was easy to understand- Every Ford steering wheel feature works- Lots of memory- Fast start - it boots up in about 30 seconds- Music is loud and well defined- Easy to use user interface- Built-in CD/DVD player :) turns out my old DVDs are useful after all- Only the front speakers work for some reason- Headlight alert does not work, when I leave it on and take the keys out (this left me with empty battery two times)- Ever since installation the car battery drains in about 3-4 days. It could be the unit, as if I change it back to the original Ford unit, battery does not drain anymore. As soon as I get around to it, I will take the car to an electrician to find out exactly whats happening, it could be I messed up something.- Does not fit exactly into the Ford audio slot - the unit seems to be longer and I cannot push it into completely. It could be the slot I have in the dashboard - there is a plastic stopper across and that stops the unit sliding in completely. When I get to it, I will cut the plastic out.- I did install two 12V 12cm PC fans into the slot, as the unit gets hot, I mean really hot during the summer - it is passive without any fans. It did get me through Europe last summer without the fans (installed the fans after the trip), so I guess it is meant to take that heat abuse, but I feel better since.The best feature is the ability to connect it to my phone via wifi - I tether it to my phone, installed Spotify on it and enjoy my music or youtube if not driving. All in all it is a really good unit to get modern features into an old car. Not everything works perfectly - I still do not have working radio as did not get around to install a DAB converter, and I really miss the headlight warning, but still I am overall happy with the unit and highly recommend it.

Okay so the first unit arrived and was well packaged. The unit was easy to fit and the mk7 transit wiring plug fits straight on to the unit with no loss of function. Mirror linking ,bluetooth, etcetera all work as they should. Adding apps via playstore or side loading also works well. The fm radio works well but no matter how you try the traffic reports will not work with rds and tp turned on no matter what you do. The station ident shows just fine. Sat nav gps unit works just fine. I have loaded TomTom go and it works flawlessly.However after five days of intermittant use the unit locked up and would never re-boot in to the operating system again. The manufacturer said it needs an upgrade (sod that) so Amazon were just great and the unit was returned for a new unit.The second unit arrived and was fitted just fine. The buttons on the left hand side do not work properly (when they are pushed they are extremely stiff and respond on very few occasions)The functions of these units is brilliant but the build quality is flakey. Shame really as I like the units flexability.7th March 2020 update. So I have had the unit for a month and have found the following problemsThe unit will freeze and reboot at least once on a 200mile daily trip.Traffic reports cause the unit to swap from the present app you are using and go back to the radio app but no sound is heard. I have tried to alter the audio channel but no sound can be turned on.Bluetooth messages will not show from my phone on to the head unit no matter what push notification app you use on your mobile to facilitate this. This is due to the mapi setup of the radio.The internal microphone on the unit for blutooth mobile calls is diabolical so I purchased an external microphone to add to the auxillary rear microphone extension socket from the rear of the radio but still no good.All in all I will stick with the radio but certainly would not recommend it to anyone and have reduced my initial 3 stars to 1 star.

Literally is a struggle to install as the body is so large, tucking cables away is difficult. But doable, just! Other than that, it's very good, looks fab once installed.

got unit on time in good order had it fitted worked great for 2 days after I had to buy an sd card which was not stated was required when I bought it then all of a sudden all buttons relating to sat nav which was working fine went straight to goole voice still cannot get sat nav back on any sat nav button also buttons seem very flimsy and wobbly

Unit is quite good but the fitting instruction and user manual are basically a waste of time

The media could not be loaded. Done everything I wanted it to do but had a problem with it. When I turned my headlights on the whole unit stoped working tried to contact the seller but never got a reply so after A WEEK I returned it
