Bandai Hobby Real Grade 1/144-Scale 00 Raiser Gundam 00" Action Figure

This is one of the most decked out Real Grade kits and if you're any fan of the 00 series, this is a must have in your collection.Following up to the incredible Exia real grade, Bandai has given us the full kit of the 00 Raiser. No 00 Gundam and 0 Raiser separately here, Bandai had the decency to give the whole thing as one kit and with plenty of accessories to boot.The base 00 Gundam is here and being built off the same inner frame as the Exia kit it features much of the same pose-ability with double jointed elbows and knees and a extendable shoulder joint. The kit is fairly well balanced as just the Gundam and can pull off many striking poses grounded or up on an action base. The twin GN drive shoulder pods however can limit shoulder movement slightly. They can swivel up and out of way or face front for creating a GN barrier pose. Something I haven't seen on other reviews is that the GN drives can open up slightly like the one on the Exia. The shoulder pods themselves do have something of a lock mechanism to hold them in place when posing so pay attention to the manual with this so they don't get broken accidentally.The O Raiser is a simple build but nicely detailed. You get the option of having the standard clear orange part replaced with a clear version that appears to from the movie version of the O Raiser. Like with the RG Skygrasper you get parts for the landing skids, skids for being prone on ground and covers for flight. The parts are small so take care not to loose them. The O Raiser will come apart, wing binders separating easily from the main body and the main unit splitting apart towards the back so it can attach to the back of the 00 Gundam. The wing binders you will want to pay attention to in the manual as the grey part on them slides forward to allow room for the GN drive to hook into the fold out peg on them.Once together as the 00 Raiser, this kit becomes quite top-heavy and I'd recommend having it on an action base at this point. It will still have much of the same pose-ability but with the added heft you'll be much more limited with any ground poses. The wing binders can open up slightly to reveal some inner GN condensers(or emitters, I'm not exactly sure).In terms of the plethora of accessories you get; you the pair of GN Sword/Rifle II, of which can be linked together via an adapter and have some nice beam effect part blades; two standard beam sabers, one set of display one and a set of pegged ones for the hands and blades; a pair of GN Shields that can both be stored on the GN drive pods or on the O Raiser's wing binders, they can also be attached to the forearms to either serve as arm shields or as katar like weapons and can be combined together into a larger shield(though it find it unwieldy in this configuration); and lastly you get the mighty GN Sword III that hook itself into the fore-arm much like the original GN Sword with the Exia and comes with own massive beam effect part. The GN Sword III can also be stored with the O Raiser by attaching to the bottom of the unit.You also get several sets of hands, pair of grasping hands, pair of closed fists, pair of open hands and a pair of RG type hands(which I find are not wholly practical on this kit). Standard action base connectors are provided, one for the 00 Gundam and one for the O Raiser. Figures of Setsuna F. Sehei and Saji Crossroad included. Oh, and one more goody, you get a pair of GN Condenser drives to replace the GN Drives if you so choose to have the 00 Gundam in it's form from the movie.My issues with the kit are few and mostly forgivable. The ankle armor and piece around the back of the knee tends to fall off quite easily. The Wing binders connection is strong enough but sometimes it will pull apart the GN drive when removing them. Opening the wing binders is more difficult than it appears as the blue cover comes easily and you'll need to find something to pry the inner mechanism out. It comes with the standard set of stick-on decals, love or hate them, that's what you get and in some areas, especially with the striping it can be difficult to apply and they can peel up over time.Despite those minor issues, this is one of the best Real Grade kits out there. It's a solid design loaded out with enough extras to satisfy any fan.

I'd heard the 00 Raiser RG kit was great and this blew my expectations away. The kit comes with SO much plastic to work with that you'll hardly believe they managed to fit it all in it's relatively small box. It comes with everything to make the 00 Gundam and the 0 Raiser, two beam sabers, two GN Sword IIs that come with a connector piece to combine them into a staff, the signature GN Sword III, two small shields that can be mounted on the 0 Raiser's wings or held on the back of the suit's arms AND can be connected together to form a larger shield, options to switch the GN drives for GN tanks from the movie, special pink effect parts for the GN Sword IIs and the GN Sword III, and two tiny figures of Setsuna and Saji. If you want a kit with swords and accessories galore, this is it. And of course the 0 Raiser splits and attaches to the 00 Gundam to form the 00 Raiser, allowing you to choose whether to combine them or keep them separate if you wish. The kit also comes with a base connector for both the 00 Gundam and 0 Raiser, and small landing gears to attach to the 0 Raiser if you don't want it on a base. I recommend getting an action base 2, perhaps the sparkle green one that looks like GN particles to match the suit, because it is a little back heavy with everything on it. Plus the suit is always in space in the show anyway so it allows for more dynamic poses. The whole kit is sturdy in any way you put it, and has a ridiculous amount of options to suit your fancy. It also comes with a sticker sheet of 81 stickers, but most of those are optional so use them as you wish. As for the packaging, it was wrapped up secure and safe and came WAY earlier than the time window suggested. This was a beautiful buy and I'm more than satisfied!

This was my first Real Grade build. It's a great kit all around. I was expecting parts to be small but some are so tiny that you really have to be careful when building this. I've dropped a couple of pieces on the floor and it took a while to locate them. This model comes with the full inner frame, including the head(although not as detailed) which I was not expecting. I spent about 1-1.5 hours each day on this model for a total of 4 days. As a raw finished product, this kit alone looks amazing. This definitely feels like a cross between a master grade and a perfect grade(poseablity or articulation wise) in a smaller and affordable factor.It is however not perfect, at least not on the kit that I received. The shield won't attach to either of the arms. The peg is either too small or the slot where it attaches to is too loose. Either way, it just falls off. It works out though since it looks cooler when both are attached to the 0 Raiser craft in my opinion.I'd still recommend this kit to anyone who loves Gundam or any mech model kits. The GN Sword II was a blast to assemble and is by far my favorite weapon for this Gundam. For all the things this model offers and what it can do, this definitely is a bang for the buck model kit.

I would like to put a 4.8, the only "issue" is that it's very weak because it has to carry all the weight of being the beast gunpla of the 00 series. And of course the backpack and the raiser are too heavy.

A great model kit. As expected from bandai's plamodel lines for Gundam. The one downside is that the water slide decals are the usual incredibly fiddly process.

This was my first gunpla build and I really enjoyed the detail, I recommend you get a tool kit I had to improvise with some thing on my house, but the gundam looks great
