Ok first things first, this IS easy to get on/off, comfortable, and makes walking easier. It serves its purpose of being closed toe so your tootsies don’t freeze off or get super wet when it’s raining. Now it is not super durable. MyMom used this regularly and it became an open toe shoe in about 3 months of use. For most people that isn’t a big deal as by then they will likely be healed and not needing it. Due to complications she needed another one since the doctors office doesn’t provide this kind nor do they even attempt to give you a shoe to fit your actual shoe size (which lets face it, is just a huge safety hazard).All in all, well worth buying even if you have to buy an extra for backup.

I bought this in Jan 2014 because of a foot injury which caused minimal swelling but substantial bruising and pain. I am using it again this year for a similar injury. This boot is extremely comfortable, almost as comfortable as my tennis shoes were prior to injury, and far more comfortable than my tennis shoes now. The Velcro straps located mid-foot and at the ankle allow for a customized fit. The part that covers the toes is a flap that is flexible and can accommodate swelling. I use this boot outdoors since it has more protection -- and closed toes, which are important during the winter! After a few inches of snowfall, I wore this outside and my foot stayed dry, although I think it would get quite wet in slush or rain. When I am inside, I wear the Darco med-surg post-op shoe, which is also extremely comfortable.Another reviewer commented that this shoe is noisy but I have not noticed that. It has been durable for >6 weeks of occasional outdoor use. I wear a women's size 6 1/2 - 7 and the small fits well, but I wear this without socks and haven't had much swelling, so you may need to adjust sizing accordingly if swelling is an issue for you. This is highly recommended as excellent foot protection after injuries to allow for healing!!

Love, love, love this walking boot. I haven't been able to find anything similar. Mine is a Darco which helps to keep my metatarsals from hurting. I am recovering from a Fifth Metatarsal Fracture and was wearing a tall hard walking shoe. My orthopedic doctor recommended that I progress into a smaller walking shoe. My employer only accepts wearing a close toe shoe. I ordered this one and can't be happier. It protects my feet. The square front help to protect my toes each time I bump into something. It is so comfortable and soft that I am ready to order another one for my other foot even though I don't need it. You may need to work in the adjustment but the straps are indeed adjustable. I wear size 7. It fits perfect. My foot is narrow. I was able to adjust the straps nicely. I highly recommend this shoe.

Actually can't rate comfort as the shoe does not fit. Appears to be a well built shoe and should do the job but the sizing is not correct as advertised. They have a shoe size chart in the add but it is incorrect. I wear a men's 7.5 shoe and according to the shoe size chart a Men's Shoe Size of 6-8 is a Small. Therefore, I ordered as small but it is to small and I can't fit my foot into the shoe at all. I attempted to return the shoe for a larger size but according to the Return or Refund page on Amazon it is not returnable or refundable to Amazon or Medical Supply MI. I submitted this information in the Amazon "Seller Messaging Assistant" on 6/4/2022 @ 9:43 am but to date 6/11/2022 @ 10:00 am I have not received a response form either Amazon or Medical Supply MI.

I purchased this because it covers your toes. When it came I tried it on and the sizing is WAY off so my shoe fit small. I tried to return so I could exchange it and I was not able to return. This is BS

I broke my big toe during the winter with record breaking snow fall and this shoe saved me. It was warm, dry, and easy to walk with. I could easily wear it for six weeks straight, and especially enjoyed the ankle strap that prevented slippage and the high sides. HOWEVER, I am a women's size 7.5 and ordered a medium and my toes were cramped. Regardless of the swelling, I couldn't even keep my toes straight. I ordered a large and everything worked great.

I have stress fractures on both of my feet and ordered these to wear instead of the big and bulky walking boot I have been wearing. I agree with other reviewers who said the sizes run small. However, I didn't see that until after I had ordered. I wear a size 8.5 - 9 shoe and ordered the small. It JUST fits me. I am happy with the way it fits but if you are using this WITH a cast or other bandages you probably need to order a size up from what the chart says. I am wearing them with just socks and they are perfect. Any bigger and I don't think the support would be as good. I just got them today so am not sure if they are going to be helpful yet but the fit is good, the support feels good and they are comfortable. They are lightweight and easy to walk in.

I liked the size and the comfort. It is light weight and I was able to wear a tennis shoe on the other foot so my balance wasn't thrown off. FYI the straps are super long. I just folded and sewed them for my foot size.
