My Fair Lady

This Novel tell us the story of ELIZA DOOLITTLE. Who's being trained by Higgins to become a Young lady even though she was not born in that Society. Throughout the Novel Eliza has a magnificent role because it divides people into different classes ..I like the character of Eliza. The Most Favorite was when she astonished Higgins and Mr.Pearce by Learning and Pronouncing the correct line. " The Rain In The Spain Stay Mainly In The Plain".All the Musical Synopsis [poem] were excellent I loved and enjoyed reading all of those. All the characters in the ACT I / ACT II in the novel were vivacious and beautiful described.This Novel was recommended by My Wonderful Beloved Husband. And I Am Heartily thankful to him for Advising me such a good Novel.

Easily one of the all time great musical. Alan Jay Lerner's stage adaptation with more conventional ending is just what GBS's Pygmalion was in dire need of. However quality of printing, especially text format and the size, is very bad and you feel like throwing the book to dustbin. With this publication Penguin has disgraced itself.

A small play

Delighted to acquire through Amazon a handy Penguin paperback copy of Alan Jay Lerner's playscript of his and Frederick Loewe's classic stage musical MY FAIR LADY, closely based on George Bernard Shaw's PYGMALION. This edition includes black-&-white stills from the film musical and its covers carry a colour photo of the gorgeous Audrey Hepburn in the starring role. It's a playscript in a small format for reading, rather than one to use in stage rehearsals, though.

A good book in excellent condition -did not cost very much I required it as our Choral Society is putting this Show on in May - wanted to read it through - which I did.

good enough to use at rehearsal. nice handy size. some good stage directions within the script.

Good product, delivered quickly, just the job🙂

As expected, the script is superb but the print quality in the book was rather black and blurry...would not be very easy to use as a script for read-through.
