Beautiful dress. I did need to send it back for a bigger size. I'm usually a 10 and needed an XL. It zippers up the back so it was easy to get into. The top is cut to give you significant cleavage (like in the photo). It is a lower cut so you'll need a demi cup bra to keep the bra out of constant view. I wore one that had lace trim similar to the edge of the skirt so that, if it did show, it would look like part of the costume & not a wardrobe malfunction. It is short so you will need some kind of covering for your underwear to prevent overexposure. I originally bought a ruffled petticoat to go under this but found it looked better without it. Maybe a less puffy, teardrop lace petticoat would work better but it was fine & looked great without one. I found the fit flattering, and received nothing but compliments, but if you are uncomfortable with low cut tops & short skirts, you may want to get a lace camisole & an underskirt to add coverage.

The size of this dress runs very small. My wife wears a size 12 dress and a 38c bra size. This should have fit her easily according to the size charts. It was so tight she couldn't even get it all the way on with the zipper open. She could not pull it down over her chest. It was probably closer to a size 8 than a size 14 as they suggest. Also the material is paper thin. It might look cute but it would not hold up to even the minimal abuse of a costume worn once or twice. I would be worried that it would survive the typical Halloween party. This dress was cheap both price and quality. But it was not worth the time it took to try on. Thank goodness it was returnable.

My husband and our 10 month old are going out this year as the 'Wizard of Oz', crew, so of course I'm Dorothy. I was worried about this costume because I don't want to be an inappropriate Dorothy, but the other costumes were either wayyy too big or the shipping made it so that the costume wouldn't arrive in time. So after reading a few of the reviews that said the costume was longer than anticipated I decided to risk it.The dress is absolutely adorable. Sure the white sleeves are a bit see-through but they're my shoulders so I'm not worried about it.I bought the petticoat to go under it and give it some extra 'fluff', making it more authentic looking.My sole complaint is the size. I read from everyone else's reviews that it ran small so I went a size up. I normally wear a medium and went with a large...it's huge on me! But there's no time to have a new one shipped in so hopefully I can have it taken in somewhere for a reasonable amount.I definitely recommend this, but it's true to size, don't make my mistake.

I got the size medium, im 5’6 and it was the perfect length. It’s super flattering. It has a windbreaker type material with no stretch at all. It feels cheap but it doesn’t look it. You’d definitely have to be careful when bending over or just wear shorts underneath.

This costume fit about as I had anticipated. I am 5'4" and have a ~33.5 inch waist with ~41 inches at the widest part of my bust. I ordered the XL, and tried it on over a semi-fitted tee shirt. It was fairly tight on my chest, but it did zip up and didn't feel as though it would rip unless I got really physical in it. The waist was tight enough to show every curve, but I plan to wear at least some kind of slip, possibly shapewear, because it is pretty see through. The fabric is cheap but I didn't expect much in terms of fabric quality from a costume that cost less than $20. It isn't shiny, but it is definitely costume fabric. The dress is short, but it isn't so short that anything will show from simply standing. Bending over would cause some exposure, but I always intended to wear some sort of spankies or bike shorts under it and maybe a petticoat to make it poofier like the picture.The back of the dress is higher cut, so no need to worry if your bra hook or straps will show, though you may need help zipping it up. It did come with a hook and eye closure at the top of the zipper, which was helpful.The only real complaint I would have is that the costume gapes in the back between my shoulders. It might be because I tried it on over a shirt, though.

size and fit is accurate

The dress fit, but it’s completely see through and the material is rough and crinkles like a shower curtain almost. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it.

Sexy but comfy not too short.Fits true to size I’m 5-7 148lbI’m wearing a medium.I also ordered my shoes on Amazon they were also super comfy. I got many compliments on my costume
