The weight for this index card is measured in points. These are 14pt. which is equivalent to 114 lb. weight. Example is 16pt is thicker than 14pt, has a higher quality feel. The added thickness is more durable, last longer than 14pt. The advantages of 14pt are: *It's a more common option in that it is cheaper than 16pt. *Although it is not as stiff as 16pt it still has a rigid feel to it, will not flop or bend on it's own. *14pt also has the same printing quality as 16pt.
