How to lighten garnier 54? my natural hair is medium brown and when i used garnier 54 it came out dark dark dark. nothing like the box. so disappoint

Just a warning to other purchasers… I bought this in darkest ash brown. The box was correct… but the coloring was the black blue shade. I ended up with very black/blue hair.
