I read reviews on this & thought "how bad could the screen be
This only gets 3 stars. I read reviews on this & thought "how bad could the screen be?" because the people giving the reviews said it was blurry in direct sunlight. Well I'm going to make it clear for everyone. Sorry I don't mean the screen, I'm making it clear so you can understand what they're talking about. On a sunny day,"not in direct sunlight" If you play a video, this 7 inch screen is a medium fuzzy "foggy looking"gray. This is what you can see when playing a video on a sunny day (a foggy gray screen) no matter what angle you're looking at it from. The reason is this head unit will only play 480p or lower videos. You can't watch one of these videos on this screen in the daylight. Everything else is readable on the screen just no video playing in the daytime unless it's clowdy. To adjust the angle of this poor quality screen you have to push & hold the screen "off button" until it beeps & moves one time, then do it again & again & again. What makes this even worse is there's no saving this screen setting so every time you turn it on you have to do this because the factory screen setting is back way to far. I'm new using this so before I plugged in the nav antenna I saw were you could play a demo & choose a pre-selected place & the nav will act like you're close & give directions. Guess that was also a mistake cause now every time I turn on the nav I have to listen to it try to direct me to another state. re-re calibrating, turn left, re-re calibrating. Now that I've used this for a few months, Within a week the volume control nob started acting up. It's a turn left or right, push to mute, push & hold to shut off. Careful if you touch this nob with the volume up because it'll likely turn up 3 to 5 more just by touching it. I'm figuring this will be the first thing to stop working on this unit. I was surprised hearing no distortion at full volume. That alone to me is worth an added star. You do get used to not seeing the screen in direct & not so direct sunlight. Because the screen comes out & goes back so far, the stereo sits about an inch out from the rest of my dash panel & so I can't tighten the stereo down thinking it would probably burn up the screen motor or the back pressure would break the screen. That's about the worst part of this stereo. .

Need enough space for screen to come up only has 4 tilt settings
I like that the hinges and both bases are metal and not plastic. I wish the time showed up when the screen was down. I put it in my road glide just to see if it would work and hold up it does however you have to have it out pretty far so the screen can clear the bezel which makes it hard to get a rain cover over it Overall im happy with this so far but i never had full intentions on leaving this one on the bike. Navigation works great. Bluetooth is great.

Mirroring phone is small on the radio screen
I had to touch the screen more than you really want to so it not very accurate when you use the USB port to connect to the phone the picture on the radio is not the whole screen it to small to see the wires on the radio is labeled but the jack port is not you have to look at the manual to see where things go and I have two AMPs and a power equalizer ,6 4 way speakers, 2 12 inch subs have fun

Wish it would have worked!!!!
Exactly what I wanted at a very reasonable price. It had EVERYTHING I wanted for my radio. Unfortunately, it didn't work in my car...😏

Decent radio
First off this looked to be a really good buy, built in GPS, DVD/CD etc... Price was good, shipping was fast. Now the CONS, the item I received from the sender in GA was obviously used and the description of the unit I was supposed to get didn't state that at all. That's the biggest of the problems, hopefully but there were scratches on the frame around the screen smudges on the screen, and tapped wires that were snipped from the previous install (which I could've lived with) but worst part was the gps wire had a gash in it (If that caused the issue I was having hopefully the replacement I had to go threw Amazon to have sent out will be better) The GPS wouldn't connect to any satellites after driving around for about 30 mins. I've supplied a picture for reference.Ok with that being said there could've been more audio options(sub controls HP-LP settings for door speakers), but if The GPS would've worked I could've dealt with everything else. I still got the 3yr warranty on it tho, you never know some people said there's quit working after a few months I guess we'll see.
