We use for our garden center for inventory, for POS, and for label file creation into a custom database. We didn't realize it had a buffer / inventory function and that is a complete bonus. The scanner works great inside and outside. The price is incredible. We have paid upwards of $300 for scanners and we are most happy with this one. Plug and play, no issues. Simple instructions and simple to use.

We use these in a fireworks buisness for scanning barcodes. We use these with a Clover point of sale system. I'm sure they will work with any kind of system that has a USB cabled scannner. We also replaced the wired scanner on our little video box that lets you scan a barcode to view a video of a firework.

I'm on day two of trying to figure out what is wrong with this. If I have it plugged into the computer, I can scan something and it will show up in the computer program where I have placed the cursor. However, if I scan something when it is not attached to the computer, I cannot download that information. According to the instructions, if I am away from the computer, when I scan, a "blue light" will flash (which it does) and it will store it until I get back to the computer. But I can't access that information. My IT support is going to look at it in the next couple of days, but who wants a product that requires major effort to figure out!! Probably will send back. Very disappointing!!!

This seems like a really well made scanner, but I wish there was an option to reduce the scan area because it scans barcodes that are close by. We make prescription eyeglasses and the lenses come stacked next to each other in boxes and with our last scanner it had a thin horizontal lazer. This seems to have a large square scanning area so even though you're pointing it at one barcode, if there's another next to it, it's nearly impossible to know which will scan first.If you're scanning big items then this will probably be an excellent scanner, but if your scanning smaller items; you might do better with a different scanner (unless there's an option to change the scan area?).

The item arrived in the secure package. Everything was intact and was operational right away. After contacting the company for which we use the scanners and having them explain on how to use them in conjunction with Airsoft in founders center very EP simple tool to use. although the scanners are much larger than our previous ones they are simple to use and record the scans more efficiently. We use them on bracelets with kids in our elementary school for their lap counts in our Run Club. Can you find out the battery life for our purposes is more than sufficient. And in spite of its size it is lightweight and easy to use. I’m happy that we purchased the scanners and if we need any more will continue with the same model. It is also priced competitively compared to other brands and models.

Perfect size. Head is round, but if set stable on flat surface, it will not fall or roll. Hold firmly on hand, not too light or heavy. Just right weight and size. Scan super fast. Better than other cheaper brands. So far, so good. It comes with a card, first can the set up, and then exit and safe. That's it.

Once you discover what all you can put in a barcode or QR code, you may find all kinds of uses for a good wireless scanner. Inventory of course, but you can use it to enter any kind of text into pretty much any kind of application. While I would not recommend such a thing, you could use it to enter your username and password to login to something…. Or enter often used commands into a CLUI. Anything you can imagine.

I love this scanner looks real nice feels good in hand and always scans on first hit. Easy plug and play used on my MacBook with no problems. I would definitely recommend this scanner as it looks nicer and doesn't feel cheap like others out there on the market. Get you one!.
