I used this outside to protect a corner of one of my deck boards which abuts my screened in porch board. It keeps most debris out which had been rotting the board prematurely. It has held up now for two seasons. Cut with a hacksaw and was easy to install. Color didn't stand out from the deck.

I'm a big DIY person so with that said I remove the carpet from my stairs and added sheet vinyl but needed a transition strip to blend the final stair to the hallway laminate floors. This fit perfectly, no cuts needed and the color was spot on. I'd recommend it 10 out of 10. Fast shipping too!(Side note I'm still waiting on my white stair rises to ship)Also I didn't permanently install this strip yet these pictures are of me taking the strip directly out the box and placing it on the step. I thought the description said self adhesive. You need nails, staples something to install this.

I used these in an uncomventional way but they work perfect. I have a 4 foot wood fence and two large dogs. My dogs will stand on their hind legs and look over the fence with their front feet digging into the top rail of the fence. I took these stair edgings and screwed them down with some wood screws all along the fence. My dogs no longer are destroying the top of the fence.

As described, measurements match description. Ended up buying a second one for another top of stairs area. Good price. Would buy again.

It beautifies a stair nose and adds an element of safety. I used caulk for the install.
