Where is the guaranteed analysis?

Thank you for you email requesting details about a study carried out by the RVC in 2014. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide you with these details as YuMOVE is not classed as a veterinary medicine by the Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD), which means that we are not allowed to place material into the public domain that could be considered to transgress the Veterinary Medicine Regulations as interpreted by the VMD.

Our use of the term ‘Clinically Proven’ and reference to data on file have in fact been approved by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) - the UK’s independent regulator for advertising, who have reviewed our study and its data.

However, in the case of our study, which was carried out working with the Royal Veterinary College (RVC), the VMD have determined that if we were to place the study into the public domain, they would regard that as being ‘medicinal by presentation’ and therefore in breach of the regulations. This includes either publishing the study in a journal or sharing details or results of the study with members of the public, which is why we are unfortunately not able to share the study with you.

I appreciate that this is rather frustrating, but I can assure you of the diligence of our technical and marketing teams in making the best joint supplements possible and keeping us on track in our mission to help pets stay active for life.

What’s the flavor of this? Chicken??

I have no idea of the flavor, but I can tell you that our dog will eat it either dropped in her kibble or on its own after a meal. That is saying something as she will not eat her food if we put Cosequin tabs in it. We also tried powdered Chondroitin and again a no go with her. The yumove tabs are smaller than other tabs so I was ready to give them to her like meds. Very glad that there was no need.
