🌿 Grow smarter, not harder — light up your indoor jungle with VIPARSPECTRA!
The VIPARSPECTRA XS1000 LED Grow Light features Samsung LM301H diodes and a MeanWell driver, delivering a full spectrum optimized for indoor plants in 2x2 to 3x3 grow tents. It offers dimmable light levels, silent fanless operation with efficient heat dissipation, and supports daisy chaining up to 20 units for scalable setups. Consuming only 100W, it boosts plant yields by 30% while reducing energy costs, making it ideal for both hobbyists and commercial growers.

Great light but I wish I could turn it off with the dimmer switch
This is a very sturdy light. The hardware to hang it is nice, especially the ratcheting pulleys; they make raising and leveling the light very easy. The light is obviously meant to hang from high above, which did not fit well with my idea of using a small grow tent. I ended up having to buy a 63" tall grow tent instead of the 48" tall one I wanted solely because it was too difficult to hang the light high enough in the 48" tall tent. It works great in the 63" tall tent.As for light output, I did some experiments with an uncalibrated phone PAR meter app. I tried the light fairly close to the target (plants) with 40% power on the dimmer vs farther from the target at 100% power. At the lower power setting, the amount of light hitting the target dropped off severely from the center of the light footprint out to the edges. For example, if a plant directly under the center of the light was getting a nominal 350 PAR (PPFD), plants a foot to the side of the center of the light were getting only 85.But with the light further away from the plants but at 100% power, there was very little difference between the light being received by plants directly under the light vs plants off to the side of center. I was very pleasantly surprised with how evenly the light power was hitting the plants. A plant directly under the center of the light was getting 350 PPFD, while a plant out at the edge was still getting about 320 PPFD.The one thing that nearly caused me to give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that there is no way to turn the light off except unplugging it. It has a dimmer control, but even at the lowest setting the light is still on. I wish they had used a dimmer control that had OFF as the lowest setting.Overall I'm very happy with the light, and I'm sure my plants will be as well.

Great light so far!!
So I got this because I couldn't afford the vivosun vs4k or the spider farmer 4k. I wasn't sure about the company at all or the light so I just ordered a 2x4 light instead of 4*4. This way I have the ability to try it first before I commit to a big one. I'm amazed!!!! Every expectation has been FAR exceeded! Soon I will be getting the 4x4 for the Big tent so I will be changing all of my lights to these. In a matter of just one week of using this light Ive noticed a huge difference in bud growth. Previously I was running two vs1000s (only had a couple plants going) and it did incredible through the veg face and it was flowering the plant as well, but it was happening very slowly in the buds didn't seem like they were developing fully. With just one week I noticed an enormous difference! I'm talking night and day kind of difference, honestly! So to answer a lot of the questions that I'm sure other people have because I didn't see any very clear answers to it in their views that I read before I bought it; it does flower well and beautifully! Large dense nugs :) One thing you'll notice if you look, is that these more expensive vs1000s and the vs2000 have the exact same diodes as this light does, and this driver is actually better than the one on the vs1000 the vs2000 and the spider farmer 1000 and 2000! it's a steal. This light is awesome and it saves you a ton of money 💰🤑. We all know that Amazon boxes have a tendency to show up looking like they just got put through a meat grinder, but this thing is packed extremely well. This thing would survive a tornado a hurricane and a nor'easter all in the same week 😂🤣 It's a great buy in my eyes.

This light is a great replacement for my burned out Vivosun
This review is about the VIPARSPECTRA , but I just want to start by saying that I know Vivosun gets a lot of bad reviews. However, my experience with them was surprisingly good. Within 2 days they refunded my 11 month old light fully. I didn't buy their light again because I found the Meanwell in this VIPARSPECTRA very attractive.Meanwell is a solid brand that I've used for years in 3D printers and other devices. Seeing that along with PWM control that works with my AC Infinity 69 Pro controller made this a no brainer. I can gradually brighten and dim the light to simulate the sunrise/sunset. It's doesn't generate much heat, and uses nice Samsung LEDs. The IP67 resistance is nice for peace of mind. The only negative thing I can say so far is that I wish the RJ-11 port had some additional waterproofing. Perhaps a little silicone sleeve to slip around the cord/plug area. It's not been an issue, but I'm a little paranoid about moisture.Coverage is good and according to my light meter the output is very close to what's advertised.

Nice light at a great price.
It's smaller than I expected, smaller than the MH TSW2000 it's replacing, but then it's half the wattage. I will use it in a 2.5X2.5 where I used to have the TSW2000 300W light which was more light than was needed - and more power consumption! As far as brightness goes, you can't go wrong with the LM301b diodes. They are bright and generate less heat than most.Only thing I dislike is the lack of a shroud. I currently have it lighting veggie seedlings waiting for warmer weather. The seedlings aren't in a tent, so the light hanging above them is a little blinding when standing to the side. A shroud would block that light and focus it down toward the plants. If I was going to continue using it outside the tent I would have to make something, probably with aluminum foil, to block that light leakage.
