Sooo this completely fixed my issue I was having when turning on the amp… I would have to play with the switch for about 10 sec just to get it to stay on. Swapped it out… turns right on now. Wish the light was a little brighter and that it fit more snug like the original but some tape or glue should fix that .

PUT IN Directions, does not match original switch. theres 5 terminals but wasn't sure how to wire it so i bought a 4 terminal and just eliminated the black wire(and direction came with the 4 terminal switch)

This was almost a direct replacement, however the Switch LED polarity was different than my original. I noticed that someone said their switch light didn't work at all. In my case, it was on all the time. I had to move a wire from the top terminal to the bottom terminal and the switch light worked correctly. There's only so many combinations so trial and error will work.

Although this switch fits and works in a Marshall amp it’s not up to the quality of the original switch.The fit is only ok, it’s loose in the factory location and wiggles around a bit. The Marshall switch fits tight.It illuminates ok, but isn’t as bright as the original switch. And when the switch is turned off, if the room is dark, it still illuminates just a little bit. No big deal, just unlike the original Marshall switch.All in all it’s ok.

I needed to replace a failed power switch in an old 70's-era JMP that no longer turned on, and followed AmplifiedPart's guide to convert a 5-pole switch to a 4-pole switch. This replacement fixed it, however the lamp is apparently defective. It is always lit up even when the switch is in the off position. Otherwise it works as expected, and as long as I can turn the amp on and off I can live with the defect.

Good quality, worked as expected.
