Just What I Needed
I was very tired of dragging my (HEAVY) pellet grill/smoker in and out of the garage and patio. It has wheels on one end but you have to lift the other end to move it. So I set out looking for wheels. At first I decided to replace the 6" wheels with 10" which would raise the grill by 2". Then I could add 2" locking casters on the other end. I could just roll it around and then lock the casters. Problem solved until I started looking for 10" wheels that would fit my grill and finding casters that would attach to hollow steel legs. While I was searching I came across these "Step Down" casters and thought that they make work better. I had to buy a set of 4 when I only needed 2 but that was still cheaper than replacing the wheels and adding casters, So OK... I'll try them out.As usual I got my order quickly and sat down to get them installed. They come with wood screws for installation which would do nothing for me so I bought some 1/4"-14X1" self tapping metal screws. I followed the instruction and drilled pilot holes for the screws and installed the caster mounting plates. Then attached the 2 casters and Bingo... Installed without a problem! These are very heavy duty casters and really roll well across concrete. It took about 30 minutes to install them And they work perfectly. They lift the grill legs about 1/2" off the ground and it now rolls very easily. Let them back down and it's nice and level. All in all, I am very happy with them and strongly recommend them.

These are a great idea!
I purchased these for my drill press stand that is a bear to move. It weights roughly 200 lbs.All I did was mark 2" up from each leg, drill a pilot hole, and attach the bottom screw loosely enough to turn the bracket. I then simply lined up the top hole where it should be, and marked it with a pencil. Move the bracket, drilled the hole and screwed in the the other screw. (A little soap on the screw will make it easier to get in the hole). The castor is easy to put on with a wrench.I have no problems with these castors, and they are easy to use and move my drill press around the floor! This is a decent product for the price, and I do recommend it!

Exact same as the Powertec version
I bought the Powertec 17000's a couple of months ago for a cabinet I was building for my router table. I wanted these mobile workbench casters so that I could move my cabinet out of the way when I'm not using it, as my shop space is somewhat limited. I was very happy with the quality of the product, and they work great on my bench.HOWEVER!!! When I went back to buy another set of these casters for another tool cabinet I'm building, these Peachtree casters caught my eye. Looking at the pictures, they looked like the exact same item as the Powertec model. Out of curiosity I ordered them, and sure enough when they came in and I was able to do a side-by-side comparison with the Powertecs, they are indeed the exact same item, just sold under different names and in different packaging. Only the Peachtrees are a good bit cheaper. As for the product itself, they're good quality, sturdy and durable. They're very solid after being mounted to my cabinet, and the casters roll and spin smoothly under the weight of the cabinet, router bench and router. The kick legs are easy enough to manipulate with my feet. They don't feel like they click in place very solidly when I'm lowering them down to lift them up onto the casters, but they stay in place just fine and don't slip back down onto the legs of the cabinet until I operate them. Now here's the reason I prefer the Peachtrees over the Powertecs. I would've rated this product a straight 5 stars, except that they were $44.99 when I ordered them, but now the price has jumped up to $54.99 which is lame. Still, compared to the Powertec's $69.99 price tag, you're still saving $15 and getting the exact same product. Hopefully the price doesn't go up anymore, as I'm going to need another two or three sets of these down the road for other tools in my shop!

Good Quality Easy Install
This is a sturdy steel product and a fairly easy install on a workbench/cabinet combination that will weigh between 200 and 250 lbs. i did not use the provided screws to avoid the possibility of twisting them off and creating a headache I’ve had before. I used 1/4 lag screws with pilot hole, soaped the threads and installed snug by hand with a socket not a power driver. They hold the weight fine and the casters roll very smoothly on concrete. A good product at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Works on level ground, folds under itself
It works great and is easy to set up and if you have a smooth level shop with no cracks it would be perfect. I use it to smooth things around and it's a slight uneven surface and there's lines or bumps that it hits and it folds underneath itself. I constantly have to fix it. I feel like it would be easy to add a small bracket to prevent it from collapsing
