Q: How do you mount it to the concrete pier for the deck?

Need a concrete drill bit and concrete anchor screws to mount the plate to concrete. Really easy to install.

No bolts used, it comes with its own screws

Q: How do I eliminate the wobble once installed?

I noticed that the posts did wobble a little when I only had the posts up. After connecting them with together with beams and angle supports, they are really solid. I read somewhere online that any brackets bolted or nailed are structurally a pin connection that cannot resist rotation at the connection. The brackets provide lateral support against sliding and vertical support against uplift.

Q: Recommendations on an anchor for securing this to a concrete slab?

The previous answer seems incorrect to me. I have not installed these yet myself though. If you look up the spec sheet for these 6x6 post bases they have a single hole in the center for an anchor that hole dimension is listed as a diameter of 0.63 inches or 5/8”. You could not physically use a 3/4” anchor as it wouldn’t fit through the hole. And if you are even able to get a 5/8” anchor through a 5/8” hole you had better be deadly accurate when you drill your holes or cast in your anchor bolts as you will have zero adjustability. I elected to used 1/2” mechanically galvanized screw in anchors. But if there is any question as to whether the anchor you choose will work you should probably let an engineer specify the anchor for you.
