Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock, SPF 30, 88 ml

I have only just started to wear an SPF in my 30's but as using a BHA exfoliant I knew it was recommended. I did a lot of research on google/YouTube and read a lot of customer reviews before purchasing and I have to say this really does actually work! I can put this on over my serum and it does sink in without leaving a sticky residue or a white cast (I'm very pale though) and gives me beautiful smooth skin ready for foundation. It is much much better than Clinique City Block or Laura Mercier SPF lotion or La Roche Posay Anthelios all of which are far too heavy for my super oily skin. I've not been using it for long but so far no new breakouts. It's not completely weightless and Paula's Choice SPF Hydralight Lotion (not gel, that's horrible) is pretty close but this beats it on price and is slightly superior. I still want to try Shiseido but so far this will do me for the summer. It's so nice when you find a cheap product that is much much better than the high end I just wish they would market this in the UK more?

I brought this by mistake thinking it was the Neutrogena Clear Face SPF 30, sunscreen i had used previously. I couldn't understand why i started getting the odd but absolutely awful spot, as i hadn't changed my routine. Two weeks after first using it, I finally narrowed it down to this sunscreen. Its such a shame as had such clear skin until I started using this. I will now ensure that i order the Neutrogena Clear Face Liquid SPF 30, 89 ml / 3 oz, which is truly breakout free and non-comedegonic. Unlike this one, which is awful for sensitive skin. I would warn anyone who has sensitive skin (or who is prone to acne) to steer clear of this. I would recommend the Neutrogena Clear Face Liquid SPF 30, 89 ml / 3 oz. Its more expensive i.e. £4-£5 more but its worth it to avoid looking a little like a pizza face.

Disappointed it says apply several times a day. Bit difficult to do if you've got makeup on and at work, but would be good for holidays. It does not leave your face shiny and is perfect under makeup.

This is one of the best sunscreens I have used so far. I use it on my face and decollete. At first it looks shiny when you put it on, but any greasiness quickly disappears and it looks as though you are not wearing any sunscreen, - you don't get that chalky or creamy residue that a lot of suncreams leave.It has a very light scent, - you can't really notice it. It also doesn't seem to cause blemishes, oily skin, or breakouts. I tend to use it without putting moisturiser on underneath. Unless your skin is very dry you probably wouldn't need both.Its active ingredients are: Avobenzone 3%, Octocrylene 4%, Oxybenzone 4%, Octisalate 5%, Homosalate 8%One thing to bear in mind if you're going to need some this summer: you'll need to allow a week or two for delivery, as it gets shipped from the U.S.

The scent of this product is light and barely noticeable, unfortunately that's the most positive thing I have to say about this sunscreen. While the product doesn't leave my skin looking or feeling as greasy as other sunscreens have, that's where the plus sides end. To begin with it leaves my skin looking somewhat dewy, and in certain angles of light shiny. Secondly it also manages to highlight all the inconsistencies of my skin, all the while managing to make it feel dry and tight - the sensation of my skin feeling prickly is somewhat irritating, and as time goes on isn't improving. I'm not going to wait and see if it brings me out in a rash or outbreak; if it's half as bad for my skin as it feels like it is, the sooner it's off the better. Seems fine on my arms, just not on my face, which is what I originally brought it for.

I have been using this product for the past year around 5 to 6 days per week, even during the autumn and winter months. My main reason for using this product is to prevent photo ageing. I apply it after my oil of olay moisturiser (nature fusion) and before my make up. The product sits well on my skin, I only apply once in the morning time before work, as reapplying over make up throughout the day could be a bit tricky/messy.Overall I like the look and feel of ultra sheer on my skin. It doesn't feel heavy or greasy unlike other sunscreens I've used previously and it has never made me break out in spots or blemishes. I have used this sunscreen whilst holidaying abroad also and it has prevented my face from burning.I would definitely recommend buying this product!

I had massive problems with this purchase. I needed sunblock for medical reasons and found this product which I really liked. After a long time waiting, the product finally arrived but only to be suncreen, not sunblock! I was very upset as I had waited for so long for this to arrive, and the wrong product had turned up! I contacted the seller and told them that I ordered sunblock (as advertised) and they had sent me sunscreen. They in turn told me that there was no difference between the two products, (which is wrong). I replied explaining how the products are different and was ignored by the seller. I had to then open a dispute through Amazon, which did result in me getting my money back as the product was mis-sold.Sunblock - stops all sun rays from penetrating the skin.Sunscreen - prevents or slows down the sun rays, reflects UV rays.

Nothing special if you ask me, still got my allergy when using itdoenst feel as greasy as the others but thats about it
