just lost the other one and this was a great perfect replacement for the other one. Not too expensive and now I can watch the DVD's

Same as original
I have a 7yr old Toshiba, looked and looked on the web for correct code for my tv to no avail. There are literally hundreds of 3 &4 digit codes for Toshiba. Found the manual for the cheaper Sony DVD xx210 model. Had the correct code for Toshiba TVs It's "07".

The remote that came with the Sony DVD player smelled like gasoline. It was awful. Got this one and it smelled fine.

It's so nice to have a remote again
I'm kicking myself for not buying this much sooner, when we lost our original one. I assumed it would be too expensive. It's so nice to have a remote again. It came quickly and worked perfectly. Even with my Sony DVP-SR200P.

age of your appliance
All fine as far as rated above. I am just disappointed personally because my appliance appears to be too old to work with this infrared command's sensor. I followed all product support videos and used numerous batteries.

Glad I could find it on-line!
I purchased a used DVD recorder at the thrift store which did not come with a remote. I'm so glad I checked around on Amazon & found the remote for the recorder. Now I can use all the features that the player has.
