I only used this once for when I was moving from one state to another. It worked great for the 9hr road trip with a bunch of Tetra in it. Served it's purpose and worth the price. Saving it incase I may need it again

I have had aquariums all of my life and trade fishes with other enthusiasts. I thought that this would be easier than a bucket that sloshes, which it is in a way. At least crabs, crayfish and other invertebrates wont be able to crawl out . I will use it a bit and hope that the water pressure keeps it upright better after a few uses. This fish carrier may be a lifesaver if I have a tank emergency or need to move larger fish. Keeping old fish store bags looks trashy, and transporting fish in a bowl is unsafe. This carrier has a top which allows air, a handle to carry everything. I think it must need at least half full of water to hold its shape, and I wouldn't trust it to stand alone without collapsing.

I opened to fill with warm water to bring to size, set on my kitchen counter, came back to find this leaks water terribly. Bought both small and middle sizes. Both leaked. Now I am scrambling to figure out a plan B to transport my fish for a move.

I have used this now to transport fish from my home to the fish store where I sell the guppies I breed and it has worked out well with a USB air pump they travel the 48 minutes to the store and acclimation time well and it is better than having to bag them up and spend that extra funds all the time. I also use it to bring fish home from the store.Now why the 3 stars... well because I tested it with just distilled water the first time and no fish and after about 10 minutes there was an oily chemical floating on the surface... so I had to rinse and repeat clean the product multiple times and then left water in it for 3 days dumped repeated 4 more times to make sure it was good to use. But in the end, it works fine just with that prep.I have also seen this same issue with many products made of plastic materials so it is not a deal breaker just needs to be managed.

My daughter used this to collect crawdads. It worked perfectly as it can keep water thereby keeping the crawdads alive until release.
