I was looking for a new urban sketching art bag, one that would match my pencil/pen rolls and pouches in color and would be simple in style as to not attract too much attention. I also wanted a zipper top since my previous tote was open. I purchased the Covelin Casual Tote in Navy to test it.The canvas is not thick, but serviceable. The crossbody strap is a good length. I find the zipper is weak and fear it will be the breaking point of the bag. The size of the bag is perfect for all my art supplies, zips them up and keeps them out of sight, and is lightweight to carry. As I've used the bag, I found I really loved it, zipper non-withstanding.I ended up buying a second one in grey-purple for my writing kit and am thinking of adding a black one as a general tote in the future. If a sturdy zipper is a must on your list, you may want to look elsewhere, but otherwise I can recommend this inexpensive tote. The color choices are wonderful and the canvas is of decent quality. I love mine.

If you're looking for a cute bag for everyday use this is it! I'm genuinely surprised by how great it is. I can fit both my laptop and Ipad in with plenty of room for other things. Plus it has a zipper, which I really love. The material isn't bad either and I love the adjustable strap!

Cute and durable. After hard use it has a few frays on the strap, but it's canvas so that's to be expected. I've brought it on trips and it's been perfect to fit water and necessities in it for the day. Nice zipper and decent inside pockets. Comfortable to carry as a crossbody too.

For a cheap bag, this works great! I use it as an art bag to take back and forth to the studio and it fits a lot of items and is actually really good quality. I got it because it was canvas and has a crossbody strap vs just shoulder straps. It has worked very well and held up super well (2 years). I really like the material it is made out of too. Very sturdy. Highly recommend if you just need a cheap go back for art, the kids, etc.

I use this as my primary bag, and I love that the shoulder strap has a LOT of room to lengthen and shorten. There are also a couple of compartments inside to hold things like brushes and pens. It does have an odd proprietary tag on the outside that I didn't really want to show, so I stitched a velcro square over it so I can change out the patches, and even add more patches over time to mix it up.It's an unlined bag and will leak if anything spills out in it, but it is washable. When it needs washing, I'll use tepid water and mild detergent then hang it to dry to avoid fading and shrinkage. The only thing I don't like is that there's a bit of pilling where it rubs against my clothing as I walk. The pilling can be removed with a fabric shaver or by picking it off, so it's just a trifle.
