Save your money — doesn’t live up to the hype
I honestly wish I could give this device 0 stars. It takes forever for the camera to connect to the app and when it finally does, the screen is black until there is movement which seems to “awaken” it. If my child was sleeping and therefore not moving I would still like the peace of mind to know that. When the camera is on, there are sometimes 30 second lags and the camera freezes at times for up to 5 minutes so you don’t know if your child is staying still or if the camera is frozen. Useless. I thought that it may be a problem with my WiFi speed but I’ve connected it to multiple different routers and had the same issue. Very disappointed.

Awesome upgrade from previous monitor
The best thing about this monitor is the ability to view the video feed from my phone, instead of having to carry around the separate viewing unit. I like being able to go outside without worrying if my child is okay upstairs. The video is top notch and I rarely ever experience buffering or lag issues. The sensitivity levels are easy to adjust so the alerts don't go off based on slight movements, and I'm only alerted to sustained movement indicating my child is awake. The ability to add a user and restrict their viewing hours is very helpful for babysitters. I also like that I can see the feed on my phone while I am out of the house, ensuring my child is okay while in the care of the babysitter. The unit was easy to set up, and the mounting hardware is excellent and allowed me to place the camera at the perfect angle in the nursery. The night vision is excellent and the video feed offers a clear, crisp picture at all times.I haven't had any issues with this monitor and would highly recommend it to other parents.

Perfect!
This monitor is FANTASTIC!The standard picture quality: Excellent. The viewing angle is, as advertised, wonderfully and with zero distortion. The microphone quality: Excellent. You can hear everything going on crisp and clear, even the faintest murmur. The speaker: Really fun (you'll see!) Also excellent quality, produces a crisp voice without distortion, very natural. The best part though, is the IR night mode! This is seriously incredible! So clear, so well illuminated! Seriously people, you going to die when you use it! And the transitions from standard to IR so smooth and fast!Oh, and one last thing. VERY sturdy and stable with mounting hardware included that is just on point! No really. It sounds weird but the little thingys for securing and routing the cable are really great!

Save Yourself a LOT of Trouble with Tech Support
Camera worked great until Safety 1st changed their network and then blamed my network and said too bad.I got a notice that my cameras need firmware update. Camera A connected no problem and for its update. Experienced a problem with Camera B. Upon my reporting router detail info on the device (camera B) to tech support, they said the problem was that the camera is reaching out to their network but is unable to make the connection, and asked me to hold while they resolved the problem from their end. Tech support came back on the line and back-peddled big time and blamed my network. When I pointed out the glaring flaw in their logic, I was told in effect “too bad.”This is not the first time I’ve had irreconcilable technical issues with this device. Last time they replaced the unit. This time they refuse to take responsibility even though they know the problem is on their end.

Excellent night vision/good features, but app needs work...YOU NEED STRONG WIFI FOR BEST RESULTS!!!
The baby monitor is just okay. The night vision is excellent, but the mobile app leaves A LOT to be desired. Now if you have a really strong wifi, with a booster or something it may be better for you. I live in a two story house where the Wi-Fi is downstairs, I have never had a problem with anything connecting to it or being slow anywhere in the house. When I received the monitor it was a Friday afternoon. I went to set up, which was pretty easy until it said it was updating firmware then stopped said it failed without any explanation of why or what to do. I tried looking up info, but all the help you can find is a few FAQS in app which had no mention of my problem. Customer support had done closed so it was up to me to figure it out, or wait until Monday to use this not cheap monitor I had just bought. I moved it around thinking maybe the connection could be a problem and sure enough when closer to Wi-Fi router it finished updating. I think this is something they should tell you or cover in faqs-YOU NEED STRONG WIFI!!! I currently use a Motorola monitor and camera that is not Wi-Fi to watch my children if I am in another room and they are playing. It plays a live stream no delay. I tried to use this camera the same way and it wasn't happening the stream was delayed and choppy. I moved it to baby's room. It isn't too delayed as long as it isn't trying to stream too much movement. The app has good features, but needs work. It will disconnect, lock up, not notify or play sound as it should if baby wakes and I have left the app on so I hear him. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't if they put the time in on the app and you have STRONG WIFI it could be better. I do like how when it detects movement it records a 30 sec clip. It helps me remember what time he laid down and see how much he is moving. And the night vision is so good I can zoom in and see him breathing without even having to walk in his room and potentially wake him. So there's the good, the bad and the ugly.

Safety First Is Will "Brick" Your Expensive Camera
So, I guess Ill start with something positive. When it works, it works fine. Picture is decent, night vision is okay. Now, on to the bad.Disconnects a lot, and usually at the most inopportune of times. When it loses and/or regains the wi-fi connection it makes a loud chiming noise, which is precisely what you don't want in the room of a sleeping child! Honestly, who thought that was a good idea!?!My wife got a good deal on a second camera when she was pregnant with our second child. Naturally she assumed it would work, but we never managed to get it to connect presumably because there was already one on the network. Oh well, we kept it as a backup. Not the best, but not the worst. Now, on to the worst... We just received notification that Safety First is discontinuing this model. So what does that mean, they're not going to make it anymore? Nope... they're not going to support it anymore. So what does that mean, no more software updates, no more tech support??? Nope... It's just not going to work. In just over a month, my expensive baby monitors will be garbage. Their advice on what to do on their FAQ literally says to "dispose of it appropriately."That is how highly Safety First thinks of their customers, no real apology, no effort to make things right besides a paltry discount on their next model. They just took our expensive baby monitor and told us that in slightly over a month you now have a paperweight. Thanks Safety First! Remind me never to by another product from you again.

**waste of money**
Complete waste of money. We fought with this poor excuse of a monitor for the first 7 weeks of my sons life until we finally decided to give up and bought something else. The connection was constantly dropped and when the camera disconnects for whatever reason at random it makes like a strobe light in the baby’s room. That alone was concerning. Everything about this was awful and I’m generally not a negative person. After reaching out to the company I got less than any useful help. Please, do not spend your time or money on this anxiety and stress inducing garbage.

Always drops it’s connection (don’t waste your money)
I set this up in my sons room in Dec and wanted to give it a good 3 month test and to my disappointment it does not work well at all. I have very solid 2.4 and 5G WiFi throughout my house and our bedroom is 20ft from my sons, despite all that the camera constantly drops it’s connection and I’m always resetting the app or have to go into my sleeping sons room to unplug and plug the camera back in to reset it. Needless to say it’s very frustrating and I wouldn’t recommend this camera to anyone.

Second camera does not connect
Connected one camera, works great. Decent quality picture. Tried connecting a second unit, and will not connect at all. Super disappointed because we bought this specifically to be able to look in on both our babies, and it can’t do that so basically useless for us :(

Used so dosent work
It is used so I can't use it I never left bad reviews but I don't want other people to be disappointed like me so have a great day every one
