Label inside guitar, looking through the sound holes, says "Made in China".

Q: How secure is it in shipping?

UNLESS IT IS SHIPPED INSIDE IT'S CASE, I WOULD NEVER TRUST A GUITAR'S SAFETY IN SHIPPING. NOTICE NO CASE IS AVAILABLKE FOR IT ON AMAZON AND I DOUBT THE WAREHOUSE WOULD PUT IT INN THE CASE EVEN IF THERE WERE. STCK TO SWEETWATER.

Q: Does the guitar come with a case?

This is a Mid-Depth guitar and the factory cases are models 8158 and 9158. I bought my 8158 from ProAudioStar in New York shortly after Ovation sold it's name off to drum manufacturer. I've never seen this case and guitar sold as a package.May be tough to find since products under Ovation's name at present are not being made and the new brand owner has not formally announced their plans at this time.
