You are in one of two camps: You either learnt the hard way how much life sucks when your battery gives out or you're considering buying one just incase.Well if you are in the latter camp, my advice is to go out and buy it. Buy a good solid one like this and it will last a lifetime. Trust me you'll never know you'll need untiol the day you need it.I already had the misfortune of needing to use it and I can say it is really well built and can handle large engine sizes no problemo. These booster cables I highly recommend. Strong and sturdy, with 4 metre cables. Started my 2.2 diesel first time plus handy storage case as well.

I should say initially that this is a provisional review as having only bought these a few days ago I haven't yet used them. However, last week I did need to jump-start my car, and these were the exact leads the kind stranger was able to lend. They feel high-quality (unlike many light and flimsy leads on the market) and are very comfortable starting a large diesel engine from a Transit Van. Hopefully I won't have to use them anytime soon, however I am confident they will work when needed. They arrived in a nice transparent circular case.

The battery was so flat there were no lights when key put in ignition but cranked over and started first go with these leads. Previous leads charge vehicle had to be idling for over an hour connected up before the engine would even crank over.The case is nothing to write home about and the insulating rubber handles fall off the clamps frequently but good for the money.

These jump leads have very strong clips ,and the wire looks better than some other one's I looked at. I have not used them yet, but I do think they will do the job when I need them
