I’ve never had durian before, so that may be part of it. I had heard it described as “eating ice cream in an outhouse” and well, the scent sure did smell like gasoline. The texture isn’t bad, but the flavor isn’t that sweet and also has odd savory parts, like onion, that made me want to eat something else immediately after. Now that I’ve looked up what it’s supposed to taste like, I’ve learned that onion is part of it. Well, I wouldn’t get it again, but that’s not a fault of the candy, more that I learned I dont like durian. The expiration date is in a year.

This product is for those Durian lovers so it’s either you hate it or love it. The candy comes individually wrapped so it’s easier to consume and also keeps freshness in longer. The candy has a soft and chewy texture with a vibrant yellowish color. The candy has the strong scent of the Durian fruit which I like but maybe too powerful for others. The candy also has a sweetness that’s tastes like it’s ripen from the tree and a delightful scent that makes this candy so delightful to eat anytime.
